Parents angered by sex ed changes

BRAMPTON – A group of local parents is pressing the province for more thorough parental consultation before the Liberals roll out changes to sex education in Ontario.

About 150 people attended a town hall-style meeting on Sunday, Feb. 8 in Bramalea to discuss the topic, and make the argument that the proposed curriculum is not age-appropriate.

Hosted by Home Owners Welfare Association (HOWA) and its founder, Jotvinder Sodhi, the meeting invited members of the public across all faiths to give input and listen to guest speakers.   (more...)
