By now, you've almost certainly heard that Kathleen Wynne will be bringing back the controversial sex-ed curriculum that was originally scrapped in 2010.
The sex-ed curriculum being used right now has not formally been changed since 1998, so perhaps an update is needed. But the new curriculum proposed by Kathleen Wynne, according to the Canadian Press, "will teach children about homosexuality and same-sex marriages in Grade 3."
That's not surprising. In fact, the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) has been teaching children in Grades 1-3 about the gay pride parade since 2002.
The new curriculum will also "encourage discussions about puberty, including masturbation, in Grade 6, and talk about preventing sexually transmitted diseases in Grade 7, which could include information about oral and anal sex." (more...)
