Everyday for Life Canada has taken the position that even the slightest connection that a convicted child sex offender may have had in developing Ontario's new explicit sex education curriculum is reason enough for it to be withdrawn. In the post titled "

On March 3, Benjamin Levin was convicted of three charges: making written child pornography, counselling a person to commit a sexual assault and possession of child pornography. The sentencing hearing is scheduled for April 3-5.
And recently evidence has been uncovered that shows he probably has a great deal of influence in shaping the final controversial document. So, why is the government insisting that the curriculum will not be changed or shelved? Why are they not listening to parents who oppose the curriculum? And should the government be in the business of teaching sex education to children in the first place? (
