I had another topic planned for today’s blog post but I went looking for a quote on tyranny and this quote jumped out at me.
“Those who are capable of tyranny are capable of perjury to sustain it.” ― Lysander Spooner
I have no idea who this person is, nor do I know the first thing about him. He could be a raging socialist, a hard line autocratic republican or maybe he’s just an observant person who enjoys the lessons of history.
The quote regardless, is truthful and oh so fitting. (more...)
