Top private schools stripped of Ministry of Defence funding after Peeping Tom housemaster scandal


One of Britain's top private schools has been stripped of millions of pounds of future funding by the Ministry of Defence following the scandal of a Peeping Tom housemaster.

Perverted Jonathan Thomson-Glover, 53, filmed students using the bathroom and engaging in private sexual activity at prestigious Clifton College over 16 years.

The German master was jailed for three years and nine months last August after admitting 36 charges of making, taking and possessing indecent photos of 130 pupils.

News of the scandal saw the elite college come under fire as parents claimed they warned staff about Thomson-Glover a decade before his arrest.  (more...)
