Jerry Sandusky's Wife Says Victims Were 'Manipulated, And They Saw Money'

Dottie Sandusky is breaking her silence.

The wife of convicted child sex offender and former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky insists that her husband is innocent, and that his victims sensed a financial opportunity.

"They were manipulated, and they saw money," Sandusky said in an exclusive interview with Matt Lauer on the "Today" show Wednesday. “Once lawyers came into the case, they said there was money.”

Jerry Sandusky is serving a 30- to 60-year sentence after being convicted on 45 of 48 counts of child sexual abuse.

Dottie also maintained that she did not suppress the memory of her husband's crimes.  (more...)
