Wynne running circles around a hapless opposition

I just wann be luved -- straight or gay, doesn't matter
Patrick who?

It’s a good question and one that might be on voters’ minds come election time in Ontario, though we’re some time away from that. As Ontario’s legislators are back Monday from yet another week off (they only sit 95 days this parliamentary calendar!), and are presumably well-rested, the opposition parties should be thinking — or rethinking — about how they do their jobs.

A strong, healthy opposition keeps the government on its toes. Federal NDP Leader Tom Mulcair is fabulous at doing so in the House of Commons. (He just bombs during an election campaign.)

At the provincial level, the Progressive Conservatives are virtually invisible as an opposition. (more...)

The voters lament:

The mafia of the mediocre has a deathgrip on poltics, and conservative lobby groups are just as moribund

Happiness is a warm gun
