More explicit sex-ed curriculum from WHO

I want to begin this entry with this quote and ask you to consider the source: "A holistic approach based on an understanding of sexuality as an area of human potential helps children and young people to develop essential skills to enable them to self-determine their sexuality.”

When did parents agree to let their children determine their sexuality? Don’t parents have a duty and right to direct the sexual and moral education of their children?

The “holistic approach” is a deceptive way of saying that when it comes to sexuality, anything is permissible and everything is acceptable. We can even and especially reject Judeo-Christian morality. The individual alone is the one who defines and lives out that sexuality. As a direct result of this approach, sex-education curricula in Canada , the U.S.  and Western countries may now include masturbation, abortion, oral sex, contraception, gender-identity, homosexuality, sexual orientation and all the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning) issues.

The above quote doesn't come from some activist or fringe group, but from a document published in 2010 by Europe’s World Health Organization  (more...)
