Premier Wynne is met with more protesting parents in Burlington

The Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce last night held its 13th Annual Business Excellence Awards Gala at the Burlington Convention Centre in Burlington, Ontario. Premier Kathleen Wynne was the keynote speaker for the event. She was also greeted by protesting parents who want the new sex education scrapped or given the choice so that their children not be taught the new explicit sex "education" curriculum.

Here's how the organizers of the event describe it, "The awards evening is designed to formally recognize leadership, innovation and excellence within the Croatian-Canadian community and significant contributions by Croatian-Canadians to Canadian society as a whole." However,  parents outside the building holding signs protesting the age inappropriate sex curriculum to be implemented for Ontario schools this fall were interested in the safety and innocence of their children and not some business speech or gala evening.  (more...)
