During the first five minutes of class, Goffart, an Iyengar Yoga-trained instructor who also teaches at Toronto’s Yoga Centre, leads the students through a few breathing and stretching exercises — all done in French.
Once they’re done “Les Echauffements” — their yoga warm-up — they start right into the day’s lessons.
“It’s meant to focus the kids ... to get them ready for class,” says Goffart, who oozes serenity and kindness. (more...)
