Students Start Condom Delivery Service at Georgetown University

A condom delivery service launched by Georgetown University students will apparently be justified as “free speech” by the university’s administration.

H*yas for Choice officially announced their new condom delivery service on their Facebook page in late October. Students at Georgetown may now simply fill out a form in order to obtain condoms via pick up at a “free speech” zone located in Red Square on campus or have the birth control delivered.

The Huffington Post reported that the student group gets the condoms from Planned Parenthood—the nation’s largest abortion provider—among other sources. Consumer Reports tested condoms in 2005 and reported that many of those offered free by Planned Parenthood had high failure rates.  (more...)
