Quan Took Trustee's Tweets To School Board's Head Lawyer

Judging from the nature of the reply from the TDSB General Counsel, it appears as though the intent of the director was to see whether the school board could censure Sam Sotiropoulos in any way.

Not only does the TDSB General Counsel say that the Board should not be censuring the trustee, he goes on to ask, "Is the mere utterance of these offensive tweets 'discrimination' under the Policy?" before answering, "Not in my opinion."

So there you have it.  The left has initiated another witch hunt, and has convicted a politician they don't like of being a violent bigot (the person who complained calls the trustee's tweet "violent and transphobic"), and tried to intimidate the trustee into silence (the person who complained writes, "I hope the TDSB, and the Board of Trustees, expressly condemns and responds to these actions undertaken by Trustee Sotiropoulos, and uses their full powers in exercising any disciplinary action available to them.")  (more...)
