This week, we take a few minutes to lament the gold medal hockey game loss to the US, before discussing the stories of the week. This week saw the US Supreme Court strike down the tariff's that had been imposed by President Trump, as Adam had predicted after hearing the arguments before that Court. Also, we learned this week that the Tumbler Ridge school shooter was banned from Open AI for their postings on that platform, a school trustee in BC was fined $750,000 for comments about gender identity in the curriculum, and the Surrey Police have been denied in their request to delay their takeover of the RCMP in that region.

Guest Dave Moore, a retired RCMP investigator, takes us inside the struggle for law enforcement to tackle the issue of securing our ports, and has a suggestion for how that may be done, taking after the example of Rotterdam.

Tumbler Ridge, Fed Gov't Picks RCMP, Magic or Sex, Guest Melissa Ellsworth

 

This week, we bring a special guest, who's name most will not recognize. Melissa Ellsworth was a forensics nurse and correctional guard who suffered a head injury trying to save an elderly woman from a dangerous patient. She has been battling Workers Compensation ever since, and has now been approved for Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD). She tells her story.

Before hearing from Melissa, Paul and Adam discuss the school shooting in Tumbler Ridge, BC, including what we might be able to conclude from what we know about the shooter, their family, and their background. 

Seemingly connected to this tragedy was the announcement late this week from the Minister of Public Safety that the federal government will be sticking with the RCMP in more or less its current form. 

While we were waiting for Melissa Ellsworth to get connected, Adam told Paul about a Nova Scotia case that went to the Supreme Court of Canada, which turned on the question of whether pretending to do a magic act where women were sawed in half was an act which was sexual in nature.

The Future: Technology Theocracy and The Thousand-Year Reich

 

First, the discussion focuses on the conflict between corporate profits and both substantial wages and benefits and strong environmental protection policy. This conflict results in an element of cognitive dissonance on the part of most people (who must work for a living.) In order to maximize profit, discomfort must be correspondingly maximized as well.

Human behavior is dictated largely by two principles that psychologists call the pleasure principle and the reality principle. In a nutshell: people do what makes them feel good. When they feel bad, they must alter their environment in such a way as to remove the discomfort. They can either change their external environment or their internal environment. Political action, labor and environmental organizing would certainly bring change that would relieve social and environmental distress. That is not as profitable as holding down wages and profits. Profits can be maximized if people can be made to alter their internal environment in such a way as to endure or even enjoy discomfort (what Mr. Emory refers to as learning “to enjoy sitting on a tack.”)

There are a variety of ways of getting people to attempt this. If they are inebriated on drugs or alcohol, their pain will be attenuated (at least temporarily) and their will to resist blunted. In this context, opium would be “the religion of the people.” The real thing might be even better.

The analysis centers on a society in which people would be made into “true believers,” through a combination of totalitarian political control and technologically-reinforced fundamentalist religion. Denominational affiliation of subject nations and individuals may well remain diverse, but the foundation and source of political power would be tremendously powerful, technologically sophisticated military weapons of mass destruction. Most importantly, the very existence of these weapons would be unknown to the vast majority of people. An administrative elite would exercise political power. This elite would be religious, political and military in nature — Mr. Emory characterizes them as “priest-spies.” They would have at least limited knowledge of the prevailing military technology, as well as advanced tactical knowledge of its application.

Their “parishioners,” on the other hand, would see (and would be encouraged and obligated to see) the devastating application of the destructive technology as “miracles.” Groups or individuals who deviated from the prescribed path would be punished with the technology and this, again, would be seen by a naive populace as retribution by some supernatural entity. (It should be noted that New Age religions are by no means immune to this kind of exploitation and seduction by fascist elements.)

Weapons technology that might be involved would include genetically-engineered micro-organisms (“the plagues of Egypt”), Tesla technology to cause earthquakes or alter the weather (“God’s punishment on the wicked”), long distance mind-control techniques involving electromagnetic radiation (“the Voice of the Lord”). (Note: this lecture was given before information about Project HAARP became public.) In L‑1 evidence is presented that so-called “flying saucers” are real and do not come from outer space. They are advanced aeronautical devices, whose development began with prototypes flown by the Germans during the closing stages of World War II. They were further developed by the Western Allies in the years after the war. There is also substantial evidence of attempts by elements of the intelligence community to create belief in space aliens. Maple and Brett Belchetz, at the intersection of private, for-profit healthcare and MAiD

 

For many years, the same voices telling us we need more private healthcare have also been advocating for expansion of medical assistance in dying.

Dr. Brett Belchetz is a key figure in Canada’s increasingly privatized healthcare space, as CEO of private healthcare provider, Maple. As a former management consultant at McKinsey and a senior fellow of the Fraser Institute, it is unsurprising that Belchetz is a proponent of private healthcare, or keen to convince the public that for-profit care is superior - normalization of these positions has made Dr. Belchetz very rich, and set to become much richer.

Belchetz’s role in Canada’s legalization and expansion of medical assistance in dying may be more surprising.

As we wrote earlier this year, Galen Weston’s decades-long plan to privatize primary care in Canada under his ownership has been incredibly successful, despite flying under the radar for most Canadians. The pandemic provided the opportunity for a giant leap forward for Loblaws, Shoppers and Maple.

The timing of the pandemic couldn’t have been a bigger gift for Galen’s healthcare and profit ambitions, in many ways. He had already managed to get Doug Ford to drop the planned increase to the Ontario minimum wage, via a secret meeting right after Doug was elected, ensuring sky high profits when Loblaws was one of the only locations open for “essentials.”

By 2020, a few quarters into the pandemic, Loblaws invested $75 million in virtual health provider Maple Corporation, for whom the pandemic had already been a windfall. But Maple and Loblaws were already connected, as Shoppers Drug Mart was already invested in the company.

Setting the stage to privatize Canada’s much-beloved public healthcare system has been decades in the making. Canada’s media outlets have gone to great lengths to platform and position Belchetz as a “medical expert” - he is a regular guest on CTV and Global, and writes op-eds for Postmedia and The National Post - but there are two features of his background that never make it into his introduction or his biography.  (more...)

Canada set to legalize MAID for drug addicts

 

When Canada expands doctor-assisted suicide — or medical assistance in dying (MAID) — next year to people whose sole condition is that they struggle from severe mental illness, it is looking increasingly likely that the government will also allow people who are addicted to drugs to qualify as well. Many have described this latest dystopian move in Canada’s increasingly expanding MAID regime as eugenics.

As the government appears to make every effort possible to make it easier for Canadians to get addicted to dangerous drugs and to keep them addicted to drugs, the government is now opening the door to letting them take their own lives at the hands of the state.

We are rapidly descending the slippery slope of doctor-assisted suicide in this country.

Assisted Suicide for BABIES Demanded by Quebec College of Physicians

 

I apologize for using the oxymoronic term “assisted suicide for babies” in the title. An infant is not self-aware and cannot “commit suicide.” Infants want to live, eat, and be held by their parents. And yet, the Quebec College of Physicians wants to expand the Canadian “Medical Assistance in Dying” program to infants.

Watch Dr. Louis Roy, from the Quebec College of Physicians, telling the Commons' Special Joint Committee of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) on Oct. 7 that his organization believes MAID can be appropriate for infants up to age one who are born with “severe malformations.”

Medical Assistance in Dying implies someone wanting to die and getting medical assistance to die in a socially approved manner with some comfort.

Infants under one year cannot possibly choose to die or request medical assistance, so the name does not exactly suit the situation. Instead of “assistance in dying,” infants will be euthanized for the convenience of the parents and doctors who no longer want to deal with problematic babies. There are other, even more disturbing reasons for this program being promoted, which we will explore.  (more...)

The death of George V in 1936 and why it still matters

 

On 20th January 1936, king George V, grandson of Queen Victoria and son of king Edward VII, died peacefully at his residence Sandringham House in Norfolk. George V had been ill with a respiratory infection for a few days and his death was widely expected in Britain. The king was watched over by his personal doctor, Dr. Bertrand Dawson (BD), the First Viscount of Penn, and his Irish nurse, Catherine Black.

George V's son Edward, playboy prince of Wales became king, Edward VIII. Apart from the press generated during the short, scandal-ridden reign of Nazi enthusiast Edward VIII, that was that. New era, new king, modernity, communist threat from the USSR, economic depression and the rise of herr Hitler in Germany were the main news generators of the day. But the story got a massive new twist in 1986, 50 years after the king's death, with the release of Dr. Bertrand Dawson's diaries.

As it turned out, George V did not just peacefully die of his illness. He was put to sleep by his doctor who wrote in his diary: "At about 11 o'clock I decided to determine the end and injected 3/4 grain of morphia and shortly afterwards 1 grain of cocaine into the king's distended jugular vein..." DB gave three reasons for his regicide: (1) king deserved to die in a "dignified manner"; (2) His family deserved this over the uncertainty of an anguished and prolonged death, and (3) if the king did not die before midnight, it wouldn't have been in time; his death would have missed The Times headline and would be reported first in "less appropriate evening journals."  (more...)

Scott Schara, father of 19-year-old Grace, who was born with Down syndrome, tells how he lost his daughter, who was given a "cocktail of drugs" in a hospital that killed her. This happened even though she had already been given the highest dose of certain sedatives, which are known to be lethal, especially in combination with other sedating drugs. In his research, he has come across treatment patterns performed on people with disabilities that he recognizes as part of a genocidal agenda, publicizing it and seeking legal atonement for his daughter's death.

Attorney Dr. Roman Schiessler of Austria also lost loved ones in this global struggle against human beings. His son, an athlete, suddenly became so ill after the Covid injections that his quality of life was so impaired that he took his own life out of desperation. An autopsy revealed that his heart and other organs were severely and irreparably damaged. Roman Schiessler also lost his mother after the third injection.

All these brave people have a message to convey: We stay the course, justice will prevail, because the truth is unstoppable.
