Exploit Church language to make what contradicts Catholic teaching, "Catholic"
An essay by Graham McDonough published in Paideusis, a Journal of the Canadian Philosophy of Education Society suggests strategies to make what contradicts Catholic teaching "Catholic." The paper is titled, "Challenging Catholic School Resistance to GSAs With a Revised Conception of Scandal and a Critique of Perceived Threat." GSAs are Gay/Straight Alliances that are legally permissible by Bill 13 in Ontario. Graham P. McDonough is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Education and Associate Fellow at the Centre for Studies in Religion and Society at the University of Victoria. It's important to know what he's advocating because it's people like him who will influence new teachers entering the profession. It's also the narrative that the media shares and repeats publicly and this helps to shape cultural thinking.
