Of contracts and bribes, Education Minister Liz Sandals is thinking: “From this nettle, danger, we pluck this flower, safety.”
Teachers’ unions, fierce and blind, should wonder about failed strategy: “Command to charge in with our horse . . . and to rend our own soldiers!”
Of pay rises that will come from school budgets, I wonder: “Can one desire too much of a good thing?”
And the teachers may mourn: “O, I have lost my reputation!” (more...)
