Sex offender dubbed the 'Beast of Jersey' could have had more victims than first thought

The number of victims at horror Jersey care homes abused by a sex offender who wore a Freddy Krueger-style mask could be much higher then first feared, a report found.

Freshly released documents have revealed several previously unheard claims from children who say they were terrorised by Edward Paisnel - dubbed the 'Beast of Jersey.'

The inquiry has previously heard evidence that the monster prowled the halls and rooms of The La Preference home during the 1960's in his rubber mask.

The respected building contractor would abduct and abuse children and assault them in their bedrooms in the dead of night - threatening to kill any who spoke out.

But the fresh documents have now revealed allegations that show Paisnel's scale of offending was a much more widespread than initially thought.  (more...)
