Nova Scotia music teacher who moved to U.S. facing sex charges

A former music teacher in Lunenburg and Mahone Bay, who now lives in the United States, is facing historical sex offence charges.

Brian David Fogelson taught music for 13 years on the South Shore after graduating from college in the U.S. in 1975.

According to court documents, Fogelson is charged with buggery, indecent assault on a male and act of gross indecency for incidents that allegedly happened between Jan. 1, 1975 and Dec. 31, 1976 in Lunenburg.

Lloyd Tancock, a Crown prosecutor, said the charges were laid in May.

A June 2015 arrest warrant for Fogelson lists his address as Blairstown, N.J.  (more...)
