Please Stop Writing about Dan Savage

I have often pilloried Savage in my columns, I must admit. But he's getting old. I mean, literally. He looks like he's in his fifties, because he is. That sleek, trim masculine build with the Adam's apple no longer looks lithe in a tight T-shirt, it looks like the sagging body of a starving old man. He's becoming the gay Mr. Burns.

We know he's disgusting and gives terrible advice to the gay community. We also know that for whatever reason, a large percentage of the gay community looks to his abusive, cruel personality for guidance, belying the masochistic streak in postmodern male homosexuality  (more...)
