In this special edition of the ‘Decline & Fall’ show we look at the Canadian government had to remove the names form a ‘Victims of Communism’ memorial in Ottawa after they all turned out to be fascists. We move from there to look at the counter revolutions of 1989 in Eastern Europe, why these weren’t revolutions at all and should properly be seen as the first ‘color revolutions’.

We also look at the Gorbachevites role in the murder of Nicolae Ceaucescu and how Romania has been destroyed by the restoration of capitalism. We conclude by asking just who the “victims of communism” actually are.

Zionism is a mix of corrupted biology and mythic stories

As a holdover of 19th-century colonialism, Zionism is infused with that era’s mix of scientific formulae and classical mythology. Science has moved on from these outdated formulae; history has moved on from the literal interpretation of myth.

The outdated scientific argument underlying Zionism is that today’s Jewish Israeli colonists are the descendants of the ancient kingdoms of Judah and Israel described in biblical texts.

The notion that such descent could confer upon these colonists a right to steal others’ land today is a preposterous notion, but it has nothing to do with science, so science isn’t required to refute it - logic and ethical reasoning are sufficient.

To the scientific question: are today’s Jewish Israeli colonizers the descendents of the ancient kingdoms of Judah and Israel described in biblical texts? Does their claim to the land go back 3000 years?  (more...)

Human rights activists of the Foundation to Battle Injustice found out the Ukrainian government usage of inhuman practices to forcibly enlarge the country’s birth rate and increase the number of ethnic Ukrainians. The Foundation to Battle Injustice investigation reveals how methods and social technologies developed by the SS in Hitler’s Germany are being used by Kiev to select and forcibly impregnate Ukrainian women. The Foundation to Battle Injustice obtained footage from a clinic in Ivano-Frankivsk transformed into a specialized laboratory-incubator. Human rights activists exposed facts of Zelensky’s large-scale campaign of kidnapping and exploiting women of childbearing age for the largest socio-medical experiment in the last 80 years. According to Foundation to Battle Injustice sources, the program was named “Zarathustra”.

The Foundation to Battle Injustice has obtained evidence of gross violations of women’s rights by Ukrainian authorities as part of a monstrous “socio-medical experiment” with roots tracing back to Nazi Germany. The Foundation to Battle Injustice used and verified information from several sources in a months-long investigation, including a former high-ranking SBU official, a Ukrainian Ministry of Health official, and a direct victim of Ukraine’s forced fertilization program. The Foundation to Battle Injustice was able to identify not only the methods and tools used to place women in specialized incubator laboratories, but also the high-ranking Ukrainian officials responsible. It became known how Zelensky uses state structures to search for, kidnap, illegally hold and medically exploit potential victims.

The idea of mass forced insemination of women first emerged in Nazi Germany in 1935, when Heinrich Himmler, creator of the SS and one of the architects of the Holocaust, decided to redefine motherhood and began exploiting women to create a “racially pure population“. Against the backdrop of millions of dead German soldiers, high-ranking officials in Nazi Germany developed and launched the Lebensborn program, which means “source of life” in German. Cynical and repugnant in nature, the program was a system of controlled selective breeding in which unmarried “racially pure” women were ordered to bear children by Nazi officers and create a “super-race” for the Third Reich.  (more...)

The Racist Origins of America’s Tech Industry

On a freezing day in December 1896, an American inventor by the name of Herman Hollerith rushed to catch a train out of the Russian city of St. Petersburg. He wore a fur cap and a thick fur-lined coat with a huge collar buttoned up all the way over his ears. It covered his mouth as well as his big droopy mustache — leaving just a bit of pink flesh peeking out at the world.

Hollerith was a hypochondriac who preferred staying at home with his wife and mother-in-law, tinkering with inventions. He hated travel, and he hated traveling in Europe most of all. Like a 19th-century version of a tech bro, he was obsessed with efficiency and mocked the locals for being bogged down by time-wasting traditions. “They are all living in what happened thousands of years ago,” he wrote to his wife from Italy. “I saw them cutting lumber on the road from Naples to Pompeii, and, when I got to Pompeii, I found paintings on walls showing exactly the same way of cutting lumber.”

For all his grumbling about travel, the inventor had come far in his own life. Hollerith was only 36 years old and had been raised in a modest home by a widowed mother in New York, yet he had just spent weeks rubbing shoulders with aristocrats from one the most exotic royal dynasties in the world. And now he was on his way back home with a fat and juicy contract for his new business venture.

A few years earlier, Russian Czar Nicholas II issued an imperial decree ordering his ministers to carry out the Russian Empire’s first countrywide census. With the 1897 deadline looming, they were scrambling to comply. They knew it was going to be a monumental task — and perhaps an impossible one.

The people in charge of the census knew the only way to finish the job in a reasonable amount of time would be to use the most advanced technology on the market. And that’s where the 36-year-old Hollerith came in.  (more...)

White supremacy’s insidious presence in our elections

While attention is mainly focused on the leaders of the four main parties, something sinister is happening to our politics.

White supremacy has made its way into mainstream public discourse in this country, becoming an insidious danger to our democracy.

In the past few weeks alone, two candidates running for the People’s Party of Canada (PPC) have dropped out or been forced out because of party leader Maxime Bernier’s stance on white supremacy and racism.

Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam candidate Brian Misera shared a series of videos on Twitter last month in which he asked Bernier to do more to rid the party of “racist idiots.” Rather than address his concerns, the party revoked his candidacy.

Another candidate announced he was no longer running because of the party’s “hate-filled, us-versus-them” politics. Chad Hudson was the PPC candidate for the district of West Nova. He said he found the divisiveness “dangerous for racialized Canadians in this country.”  (more...)

The former leader of a U.S. neo-Nazi group, a former Soldiers of Odin member and a Pegida Canada official were among those whose signatures were submitted to Elections Canada last year to officially register the People’s Party of Canada, records show.

All three of their names appear on Elections Canada documents, obtained by Global News, that confirmed a minimum of 250 party members had signed membership declarations. The forms were required to obtain party status for the PPC and its leader, Maxime Bernier.

The Canadian Anti-Hate Network said the revelation that the party’s founding members included associates of extreme far-right, anti-immigrant groups should be grounds for removing Bernier from the televised election debates.

“These people speak to who is really excited about the People’s Party of Canada and who got in on the ground floor,” said Evan Balgord, the anti-hate group’s executive director. “It’s become impossible to separate the PPC from this kind of white-supremacist ideology.”  (more...)

• Allow in any and all Nazi war criminals and employ them in the police and military.

TDSB to consider cutting teachers, special ed staff

The Toronto public board is looking at axing hundreds of teaching positions — some because of declining enrollment — as well as teachers and staff who serve special education students because of funding cuts from the provincial government.

Trustees will vote on the cutbacks at a meeting Wednesday night.

If approved, the changes are not expected to lead to any teacher layoffs because of attrition.

The board is estimating a small jump in enrollment in elementary schools — 200 students — and a drop of 2,200 students in its high schools, as a result of changing demographics.  (more...)

Declining enrolment is taking a huge toll on Canada’s largest school board, and one in five schools now are targets for possible closing.

The Toronto District School Board released a list on Wednesday evening that compares the number of students an institution can accommodate to its enrolment numbers.

Of the 473 elementary schools, 84 are using 65 per cent or less of their capacity in the current academic year. The situation is bleaker for secondary schools, with 46 of 116 falling below the 65-per-cent threshold.

The school board is coming under renewed pressure from the Ontario government to sell surplus properties. However, the schools with the lowest enrolment will not automatically be sold. The school board must now look at the list of schools that are under the 65-per-cent level and decide whether to close them.  (more...)

One of pop philosophy’s favorite questions is whether life imitates art, or vice versa. Daniel Bell, in The Cultural Contradictions of Capitalism (1976), weighed in on the topic when he wrote, “What is played out in the imagination of the artist foreshadows, however dimly, the social reality of tomorrow.”

Is he right?

A “pioneering study” published in 2008 by Eliana La Ferrara of Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, gave credence to Bell’s assertion. As explained by Fred Pearce in the Fall 2013 issue of Conservation, a quarterly “green” science magazine (and reprinted in the Summer 2014 Utne Reader), La Ferrara’s study looked at the “impact of the slow geographical spread” of programming produced by Rede Globo, a television network that for decades had a “near monopoly” on the telenovelas (soap operas) broadcast in Brazil. La Ferrara found that in over a hundred Brazilian telenovelas from the 1970s to the 1990s, 72 percent of the female characters under 50 years of age had no children, and 21 percent had only one child. Needless to say, this did not reflect the reality of Brazilian life: The average woman had five children. But a peculiar thing happened: “As the soaps reached each region and as the majority of the population tuned in, there was a discernible, additional fall in fertility.” La Ferrara and her team determined that the telenovelas “were responsible for an average 6-percent fall in fertility overall and an 11-percent drop among women over 35.” Today, the Brazilian fertility rate is down to 1.8 children — lower even than that of the U.S. In this case, at least, it appears that life did imitate art.  (more...)

The Toronto District School Board is missing out on millions of dollars in development charges and the province is considering changing the rules to help the cash-strapped board access the funds.

A provincial bylaw dictates that school boards that are operating below capacity aren’t eligible to collect Education Development Charges, the money that developers pay into the school system when they build new sites. But after struggling for years with declining enrollment, most of Ontario’s school boards – 46 out of 72 – are operating partly empty schools, and can’t collect badly needed dollars from developers.

The City of Toronto recently approved 7,000 new condo units, and while the Toronto Catholic District School Board will collect nearly $5.9-million from those developments, the public board will get nothing. TDSB trustees estimate that recently approved projects alone account for $50-million in lost potential income.  (more...)

Globalization of Education Further Marginalizes Canadian Families: Who Are the Educrats Accountable To?

Canadian school boards and universities are relaxing admission criteria for international students, a measure aimed at bringing in much-needed new revenue.

The Toronto District School Board says it is negotiating a partnership with the University of Toronto that would include waiving the required English proficiency exam for foreign students who have completed two years of high school at the Toronto board.

Limestone District School Board in Kingston, Ont., has partnered with Queens University, which pays a portion of the board’s recruiting costs, and the first year of the partnered program begins this fall. Students studying at one of the board’s schools receive conditional acceptance into Queens’ faculty of arts and science at the beginning of Grade 12. As part of the partnership, Queens reduced its required score for language proficiency.

Over the past decade, the number of foreign students in Canadian secondary schools has increased by 30 per cent as boards seek revenue to make up for budget shortfalls caused by declines in enrollment.   (more...)
