Kiev’s crackdown on Orthodox Church

Many Orthodox Christians are celebrating Christmas on January 7th, but for the first time in their history, Ukrainians will not be joining them. That's because, in a step to distance itself from Russian traditions, Kiev officially moved the holiday to December 25th.

This is just the latest in a long line of actions taken against the Orthodox community in the country.
