Special needs assistant at Greenholme school charged in sexual assault of student

Toronto police have arrested a special needs assistant who worked for 15 years at Greenholme Junior Middle School on charges of assault, sexual assault and sexual interference of a student.

Police alleged a man communicated with a 13-year-old student from December to June 5.

Police further alleged a man sexually assaulted the student between Sunday, May 10 to Friday, June 5 during school hours.

Police believe there may be more victims.
