One year of western complicity in heavily militarized imperialism, expansive colonization, and unfettered access to weapons and technology.
Thousands poured onto the streets today to demand an end to the occupation, yet these massive number pale in comparison to the lives lost and the others suffering right now. It is not beyond comprehension. We must comprehend the scale of devastation and destruction caused by the occupation.
And now in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iran, with only more to be added to the list unless the occupation is stopped. And still, Congo remains forgotten. Sudan remains forgotten. Our hosts including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit remain forgotten. Solidarity is not enough. Donations are not enough. Protest is not enough. We need mass class consciousness. Mass labour mobilization.
Whether you are Palestinian or not, the west is waging war on humanity via its largest capitalist and colonial arteries. Before you ask what you can do - I think you already know. We’ve all have AT LEAST 12 months to think, for many of us, even longer. For Palestinians, their entire lives.
