People’s Party of Canada (PPC) leader Maxime Bernier on Tuesday leveled some of the harshest criticism at Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland since Trudeau’s declaration of national emergency and the crackdown on the peaceful Freedom Convoy protests.

Bernier also expressed his dissatisfaction with the much-maligned mainstream media coverage of the protests and his party, saying the PPC has been falsely painted as a “threat to Canadian democracy” despite the Trudeau government’s heavy-handed tactics. (more...)
