Archbishop Prendergast speaks on Catholic education
On June 8th, Wayside Academy, a private Catholic school in Peterborough, held its annual gala dinner to raise funds in order to help continue its mission. Special guests for the occasion included Bishop Nicola De Angelis, Archbishop Terrence Prendergast and Dr. Janine Langan. The Wayside Academy Choir provided the entertainment for the evening.
Everyday for Life Canada thanks to the principal Adam Parker was able to obtain the address given by Archishop Prendergast on Catholic education. It's a needed reminder of the true characteristics of Catholic schools. It's also much what our funded Catholic schools have lost in the last generation or so. Here's the speech: (
