In a single moment, everything changed with our attack on North Country Business Products, Inc., a company trusted by many major retail chains. That trust has now become a symbol of vulnerability.
As a result of this operation, 110 companies and retail chains across the United States, all reliant on North Country’s POS systems, were completely taken offline. In total, 2,680 point-of-sale terminals (POS) went dark in the blink of an eye, bringing business in hundreds of stores to a standstill. Managers and staff were left confused and anxious, while the supply chain—once running smoothly, suddenly fell apart.
