101 people signed up as delegates to speak on a controversial report on antisemitism presented to Canada's largest school board on Wednesday February 12. The report was provided to the Toronto District School Board by Zionist Canadian organizations and asks the school board to consider a proposal that conflates Zionism, a political ideology, with Judaism, a religion. The report wants to include Zionism as a protected class of people under the school boards anti-racism policy. On The Line Media recorded some of the delegates who chose to voice their opposition to the report and the recommendations in it.

On February 13, Toronto's 22 school board trustee's voted 13 (for) 5 (against) to 'receive' the report. Now, what 'receive' means won't be known to parents and teachers and community members until an official press release from the board on February 19, 2025.

Jews Say No To Genocide and Independent Jewish Voices and Toronto Jewish Families, put out a collective statement on February 14, in opposition to the boards decision to consider the report and its recommendations.

"Should the recommendation to treat anti-Zionism as antisemitism be implemented, it would surely lead to a costly Supreme Court challenge for violating the Charter of Rights and Freedoms."
