The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) says it has filed a case with the International Criminal Court (ICC), calling for the immediate arrest of the commander of the Israeli military’s 252nd Division, Brigadier General Yehuda Vach, accused of war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
In a post on its X account on Saturday, the Brussels-based pro-Palestine advocacy organization said it has formally submitted evidence to the ICC, charging the notorious Israeli commander with genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.
The HRF went on to say it has requested the issuing of an arrest warrant for Yehuda Vach, stressing that war criminals like him should be held accountable.
The Hind Rajab Foundation further noted that it will continue to gather evidence, file legal complaints, and pursue every available avenue to ensure that the families of the victims in Gaza are heard and that justice is served.
There have been repeated reports of deliberate and systematic targeting of Palestinian civilians by Vach, particularly in the Netzarim Corridor, a “kill zone” established by the Israeli military in the middle of Gaza during the occupying regime’s aggression against the besieged enclave.
Soldiers told Haaretz that arbitrarily defined boundaries around the Netzarim Corridor were being used to kill Palestinians seemingly at random and without authorization. (more...)
