Russia’s President Vlaidimir Putin today gave what is arguably the most important speech given by a Russian leader since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. It was a coruscating, unwelcome but necessary “wake up call” to the trans-Atlantic world. One bombshell in the speech was that Putin explicitly stated that "Sanctions were not enough for the Anglo-Saxons: they moved on to sabotage. It is hard to believe but it is a fact that they organized the blasts on the Nord Stream international gas pipelines, which run along the bottom of the Baltic Sea. In fact, they began to destroy the pan-European energy infrastructure. It is clear to everyone who benefits from this. Of course, he who benefits did.”
Putin also named the driving force behind the rush to war—the economic collapse of the trans-Atlantic economies. It was noted by commentator Alex Chrostoforou from The Duran that Putin, “in one of the most important lines of his speech, said paper money, like the dollar and the Euro, it cannot feed people…I think that is actually, out of everything he said, I think that line right there, it’s probably the most important.” Co-host Alexander Mercouris agreed, “yes, because it pointed to the basic economic truth of the last 30 years or 50 years if you like, and also to the underlying weakness of the Western system. It is ultimately now based on artificial money creation.” Virtual reality has now run smack-dab into reality. Either total war, including thermonuclear war, will occur, or a new security and development structure must now emerge. That will never happen, however, unless we make it happen.
It was a powerful speech,the truth always is.
