Stanisław Gruca (born 1933 in Warsaw), during the war he lived at Mariensztat neighborhood in Warsaw. During the Warsaw Uprising he along with other residents of the area were rounded up by the Germans and sent to the Pruszków transit camp. During his journey through the city under German attack, he went through many traumatic experiences and witnessed scenes that still haunt him years later…
