Catholics Baptize Pornography: Sacred Heart students fight back after offensive website targets girls

Millennial Catholic School Uniform
When someone created an offensive website, posting Facebook pictures of female students at Newmarket’s Sacred Heart high school and asking people to vote on whether they’d like to have sex with them, the girls fought back.

They spoke up. They went down to the office and told their school principal. They told their parents. They contacted the police. Then they created posters about equality and women’s rights and put them up in the hallways.  (more...)

Facebook comment from a mother:
Sadly, this doesn't surprise me at all. Four of my five sons went to Sacred Heart, and some of the things that were allowed, were shocking. One Halloween, there were four girls, that came to school wearing nothing but lingerie, a la Victoria's Secret. Not only were they allowed to wear such inappropriate garb, someone actually put a photo of one, or more of them, in the yearbook. One of my boys commented, that he was surprised, that this type of website hadn't popped up sooner. Very sad goings on.  :-(
