This is What Canadian Racism Looks Like – and Her Name is Lena Diab 🇨🇦
The Gaza Special Immigration Measures Program was never meant to succeed. It was designed for PR, not for saving lives. More than 7,500 Palestinian Canadian families applied. Zero have been evacuated. Meanwhile, other countries — France, Belgium, Germany, even the UAE — managed to evacuate thousands.
So why not Canada?
Because this government wanted to hide behind diversity, so they appointed Lena Diab — a minister with Arab heritage — to silence us, ignore us, and justify their inaction. And she delivered.
She refused to meet with us. She ignored our emails. She ghosted her own Muslim community in Halifax. She answers white names, and deletes Arab ones. She scrolls Instagram while we scroll lists of the dead.
