Katie interviews Jewish Columbia professor Joseph Howley on recently arrested student protestors, Mohsen Mahdawi & Mahmoud Khalil. They also discuss the current climate on Columbia's campus, how Zionism breeds antisemitism, and the environment of terror created by orgs like Betar and Canary Mission, who seem to have a "direct pipeline" to the feds.
- Intro
- Fellow students react to Mohsen Mahdawi's arrest by DHS
- Columbia University's cooperation with the government & Zionist orgs
- What are Mohsen Mahdawi and Mahmoud Khalil like, as people?
- Charges of antisemitism on campus
- What are Trump's demands of Columbia? How is the university responding?
Joseph Howley is an associate professor of classics at Columbia University, where he teaches literature and writes about intellectual history. Last year, he joined more than a dozen Jewish faculty members in urging Columbia leadership to reject the right wing instrumentalization of anti-Semitism charges against the Palestine Solidarity Movement, and to defend the university from the MAGA agenda.
