A press conference and vigil was held in Toronto calling on the Canadian government and medical associations to demand the immediate release of all healthcare professionals in Gaza -- including Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya. The director of the Kamal Adwan hospital was abducted by the Israeli army after it laid siege to the hospital. Israel has killed more than a thousand healthcare professionals in Gaza and abducted hundreds.
