Police are concerned about potential inappropriate contact with students at a city high school after one of its teachers is accused of uploading a ‘large quantity’ of child pornograpy to the internet.

On Thursday, a search warrant was executed at a residence near Jane St. and St. Clair Ave. W. in connection with an investigation by the city’s child exploitation section.

The target of that investigation, 32-year-old Sean Done — a teacher at Central Toronto Academy at 570 Shaw St. — is accused of uploading what police described as a ‘large quantity of child sexual abuse material’ to the internet.

Done’s LinkedIn profile lists him as a member of Central Toronto Academy’s faculty since Feb. 2018, and was the school’s music and photography teacher.

Prior to that, Done’s resume lists himself as a supply teacher with the Toronto District School Board since May 2017, certified to teach intermediate and senior music and English.  (more...)
