CALGARY - Police have arrested and charged a 30-year-old teacher with with several sexual offences against a teenage student.
Jennifer Mason is charged with sexual assault, invitation to sexual touching, sexual exploitation by a person in a position of trust and sexual interference, police said.
Police allege that between August 2012 and November 2013 the teacher was involved in a sexual relationship with the boy, who previously attended the school.
"The student was 15 years old at the time the incidents started," Staff Sgt. Kelly Campbell said.
"Therefore, a student cannot consent to a sexual relationship with a person in a position of trust." (more...)
