A 67-year-old retired male teacher from Chatham has been arrested for alleged ‘historical’ sexual offences involving school-aged boys.Chatham-Kent police say the allegations were reported to police earlier this month and following an investigation, officers arrested the suspect this week.
Jim Lekavy, 67, of Chatham has been charged with four counts of indecent assault on a male, three counts of sexual assault and one count of buggery dating back to the early 1980’s. (more...)
