On April 30th, the Park Center for Independent Media at Ithaca College held this year’s Izzy Awards, honoring Outstanding Achievement in Independent Media. The Izzy Award is named after legendary muckraking journalist I.F. “Izzy” Stone. It’s the 17th Annual Award from the Park Center that honors the best reporting from the independent press. In this episode of the Izzy Awards series, Eleanor Goldfield talks to another one of this year's winners, Arielle Angel, editor-in-chief of Jewish Currents, about their important reporting last year on Gaza and the weaponization of antisemitism.
