I couldn't believe my ears. It was an egregious assertion to make but he did it. Metro Morning host, David Common, said it was difficult to verify that there was a humanitarian crisis in Gaza because "there are so few independent voices inside Gaza." Imagine how daft you have to be to make such a statement. How willing you must be to suspend your faculties. Even as Israel itself says it is extolling a policy of starvation in Gaza, there are still journalists in the West running roughshod over journalism and their own credibility.
