Levant's alt-right website continued spiraling out of control Thursday, following the departures of Rebel Media's Gavin McInnes and Rebel Media director Hamish Marshall, who recently served as Conservative leader Andrew Scheer's campaign manager.
Scheer said Thursday he will not do interviews on Rebel Media until its "editorial direction" has improved.
Rebel Media UK correspondent Caolan Robertson also quit in dramatic fashion, leaking audio of a private meeting where he alleges Levant offered him $20,000 in "hush money" to buy his silence on Rebel Media's finances.
Instead, the former Rebel published a YouTube video describing Rebel Media's internal office politics, Levant's temper tantrums and raised questions about what Rebel Media does with money received through donations: "Where does your money go? Here's the thing: no one really knows."
"The Rebel is about nothing more than making money. The Rebel makes enough from its shows to cover its costs and apparently it even makes more from backers on top of that. So what on earth does it need with your money?" (more...)

What the article fails to mention is that the "far right" "alt right" - whatever one wishes to call the Middle East Forum - is nothing but another fascist, Zionist organization. Precisely how it is funded is very murky. Obviously MEF receives some serious money from very wealthy internationalists; it is not too extreme to suggest that the very same backers of AIPAC (the de facto government of the USA)back MEF. Rebel Media's fawning servitude towards the State of Israel is obvious and open. The childish journalism displayed by some of its very junior reporters was beyond fawning. Rebel Media is nothing but a neo-con (apparently now the new catch phrase is :alt-right") outfit that is far removed from the Catholic Church.
ReplyDeleteThe more pieces of the puzzle come into view, the more it becomes apparent that the State of Israel, the Christian Right, and operators like Levant are parts of a huge money laundering operation. How else can you explain the rampant embezzlement by Israeli politicians? How else can you explain the crass commercialization of Christian Zionist Evangelical megachurches? How does money appear out of nowhere for organizations like ISIL? What do you think was happening when Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird parachuted into Barrick Gold? Why were Michael Coren and milleau so keen to silence anyone who drew attention to his homophilic and eugenic schemes? Levant and the whole network of money-men connected to him could not bear the scrutiny that financial disclosure would trigger.
