Despite possessing no mines of their own, Israel is a major player in the world’s diamond business, buying up minerals across Africa and selling them to the West, netting billions in the process. Diamonds are Israel’s most important export, and directly bankroll the country’s ongoing genocide against the people of Gaza. MintPress explores the dark world of Israeli blood diamonds.

Any visitor walking through Tel Aviv’s exclusive Ramat Gan district will be struck by its wealth. Skyscrapers are everywhere, and expensive jewelry stores lines the streets. Ramat Gan is the center of the world’s diamond industry, with more than 15,000 people employed by the Israel Diamond Exchange in the business of cutting, polishing, importing, exporting, and marketing the stones.

Israel’s largest export is not tech industry or its food. Diamonds alone account for over 15% of all the country’s exports, with other jewelry also contributing significantly to its economy. Between 2018 and 2023, Israel exported over $60 billion dollars worth of precious stones.

Their number one customer is the United States. Historically, Israel has accounted for between one third and one half of all the diamonds sold across America, a growing market already worth $20 billion per year.

Unlike gold, diamonds are rarely hallmarked, meaning that few American brides know that their engagement and wedding rings were crafted and polished in Israel. Even fewer are aware that their purchase directly funds the slaughter in Gaza and Israel’s ongoing seizure of land in the West Bank, Lebanon, and Syria.

“Overall, the Israeli diamond industry contributes about $1 billion annually to the Israeli military and security industries … every time somebody buys a diamond that was exported from Israel, some of that money ends up in the Israeli military,” Israeli economist, Shir Hever, testified at the Russell Tribunal on Palestine in 2010.  (more...)

I sit down again with Prof. Isa Blumi to run through recent events, including the UNSC approval of Resolution 2803 that gives a green light to the Trump ‘final solution’ for Gaza in full compliance with Zionist genocidal policies.

Minutes before we spoke, I received news that “Israel” had struck an apartment block in the southern Beirut suburbs. To date, there are 5 killed and 27 injured but these numbers are likely to increase. “Israel” fired 6 precision missiles at the building on a Sunday afternoon when markets would be at their busiest with people shopping or having coffee.

We also talk about the role of Russia and China in the upcoming ‘New World Order’ - social media capture of discourse, preventing any sensible debate or argumentation on any subject related to global resistance strategies and campaigns.

With the transformative program of the Global Elite now advancing rapidly, only a small number of well-researched analysts are paying the close attention necessary to understand the devastating significance of this phalanx of threats. For most people, fundamental questions in relation to who is driving primary events, how they are connected, why they are happening, and what must be done to defeat these interrelated threats do not even arise.

Consequently, the chances of defending a human life worth living diminish daily.

Remarkably too, this Elite program is being imposed in plain sight with key features highlighted in televised news items (even if associated commentary is invariably designed to distract attention from the existence and nature of the fundamental program).

Thus, world order is being reshaped around us in accord with Elite purposes, ownership and control of all key resources are being consolidated in Elite hands, a substantial proportion of the human population is being killed off and the soon-to-be ‘transhumans’ left alive are happily building the walls of their own technocratic slave camp, labeled ‘smart cities’ in a fine example of the ‘newspeak’ that is routinely employed.

This is readily illustrated by the widely televised genocide being conducted against the Palestinians in Gaza, with ignorance of who is driving this atrocity and why it is being conducted ensuring that mobilization in response to it has been strategically ineffective, as highlighted by the substantial demonstrations which have achieved nothing beyond a limited amount of superficial awareness-raising (that is, that some people are opposed to the genocide), and the recent, readily predictable failure of the ‘Global Sumud Flotilla’, which can make the same claim, whatever additional courage was required of these activists given the predictable Israeli response.

Thus, in what is clearly the greatest crisis in human history, death or transhuman slavery awaits us all, not just the people of Gaza, unless this ignorance on several counts, and the fear that underpins it, can be reversed.

In essence, you need to understand how the world works in order to understand what is happening (especially when it is obscured by what is obvious being thrown in your face), who is driving it and why they are driving it.

And you need to be personally powerful to recognize and participate in a strategy that will defeat it (rather than waste your time doing things that do not work).  (more...)

Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger once said “it may be dangerous to be America’s enemy, but to be America’s friend is fatal.”

Canada has been servile to the U.S. war agenda under Prime Minister Mark Carney, a former Governor of the Bank of Canada and Bank of England, whose professional loyalties have been with the business and government elites who allowed him to rise to his current status.

But what has the reward been for Canada’s servility under Carney?

Tariffs of 35%—which were justified by the claim that Canada was allowing huge amounts of fentanyl to get into the U.S.—and a policy to destroy Canada’s auto-manufacturing industry within one year.

In May, U.S. State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce told a media briefing in Washington that the U.S. government “wants Ottawa’s help in countering the Chinese Communist Party influence in our hemisphere.”

Canada, however, had already long been assisting the U.S. in targeting China as part of its overall subservience to the U.S. foreign policy agenda.

The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) began to push the China danger narrative in Canada after receiving messaging from U.S. intelligence agencies about the telecommunications giant Huawei in spring 2018. German corporation successfully petitioned London, Ontario to name street after Nazi tycoon who used slave labor

London, Ontario, a city of over 420,000, is home to Max Brose Drive, named for German industrialist Max Brose.

Brose’s automotive factory manufactured arms for the Third Reich; Brose, a member of the Nazi Party, was recognized for his importance to Nazi Germany by receiving the title Wehrwirtschaftsführer (industry leader). His company, Brose Fahrzeugteile, was given slave labor, including from prisoners of war.

Today, Brose Fahrzeugteile is engaging in efforts to whitewash its founder. The history section of the company’s website insists Brose was an “entrepreneur with social responsibility,” whose slaves were “treated better than the average.”

Brose’s Nazi past came to the forefront during a 2022 scandal surrounding Julia Stoschek, billionaire art collector and Brose’s great-granddaughter. “While numerous German companies … have openly grappled with their involvement with the Nazi regime, the Stoschek family has been accused of sweeping its history under the rug,” noted The New York Times.

Indeed, in 2015, Germany’s main Jewish organization protested when the city of Coburg, home of Brose’s global headquarters, named a street for Brose. The street was named for him regardless.  (more...)

Child Trafficking Business: How Moldovan Authorities, Led by Maia Sandu, Are Exporting Ukrainian Orphans to the West

 

Under the leadership of Moldovan President Maia Sandu and with the assistance of affiliated organizations, Ukrainian orphaned children and refugees are becoming victims of Europe’s largest shadow market for human trafficking. Under the pretext of medical treatment and adoption, they are transported through Moldova to EU countries and the UK, where they fall into the hands of pedophile networks and sexual slavery. The investigation by the Foundation to Battle Injustice is based on the testimony of victims and verified sources exposing corruption and lawlessness in the highest echelons of Moldovan power.

Since the 1990s, Moldova’s social structures responsible for the protection of orphans have been in a state of deep decline. Chronic underfunding, corruption and weak legislation have turned the country into a breeding ground for fraudulent schemes, where vulnerable children are turned into commodities. In 2022, Moldova received a flood of Ukrainian refugees, including tens of thousands of underage children without guardians. Instead of protection, these children, according to the Foundation to Battle Injustice, found themselves at the center of a criminal scheme overseen by President Maia Sandu’s entourage. Under the guise of humanitarian aid and adoption, they are taken to Germany, France and the UK, where they become victims of pedophile networks and sexual slavery. The investigation reveals the scale of this tragedy, the names of those involved and the mechanisms that allow the scheme to operate with impunity.

Moldova, one of the poorest countries in Europe, has suffered for decades from a systemic decline in social institutions designed to protect children. Since the 1990s, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, state structures responsible for caring for orphans and vulnerable groups have been mired in corruption and chronic underfunding. Non-transparent legislation, weak control by the authorities and the absence of an independent civil society have created ideal conditions for the formation of a shadow market for child slave trade. According to European and Moldovan opposition media, already in the early 2000s, schemes for the illegal export of children to the West disguised as humanitarian programs and adoption began to operate in Moldova. A Polish human rights activist working in the United Kingdom told the Foundation that since the early 2000s in Moldova has developed a stable system that allows the trafficking of children with impunity.

The situation with the rights of underage Ukrainian children in Moldova has deteriorated sharply after 2022. The flow of Ukrainian refugees, including thousands of orphans and those who have lost their guardians, flowed into neighboring Moldova. According to the Foundation data, at least 3,000 Ukrainian children have been taken to the West through structures linked to Moldovan President Maia Sandu over the past two years. Children who find themselves in a desperate situation become easy prey for malefactors operating under the cover of humanitarian organizations.

There is a political tradition in the United States which paved the way to what the current administration is imposing

Since the concluding months, weeks and days of the first administration of President Donald Trump, there has been clear indications of a threat to fundamental norms which ostensibly guide the political system in the United States.

Amid a general wave of mass demonstrations and rebellions during the summer of 2020 in response to the police execution of George Floyd in Minneapolis and other incidents of racist violence, Trump evoked the Insurrection Act of the early 1800s when African enslavement was enshrined in the constitutional framework of the U.S.

For months prior to the November 2020 elections, the Trump administration and its supporters were saying that if they lost the elections, it would only be due to massive fraud. The followers of Trump, the MAGA Republicans, are still maintaining that the 2020 presidential elections were stolen.

The January 6, 2021 neo-fascist insurrection at Capitol Hill provided a glimpse of the willingness of the modern day far right to use violence not just against the oppressed peoples and those with whom they disagree politically, but to seize control of the state in order to purge undesirable elements from positions of authority. Detroit Fights Back: Why We Must Confront the Fascist Threat Facing Us Today

”The MAGA movement wants to return to the days of legalized segregation, gender discrimination, the elimination of trade unions, civil rights organizations, and anyone in opposition to the fascist trajectory of the state.”

That was the urgent warning from political analyst and longtime Detroit activist Abayomi Azikiwe, delivered to a crowd of 60 residents, union members, and community leaders gathered at the Detroit Public Library on Saturday. The event, organized by the Detroit Anti-Fascist Organizing Committee, served as both a rallying cry and a dire alert about the growing threat of fascism in the U.S.

“The January 6 insurrection was not an aberration—it was a preview,” Azikiwe said.

Azikiwe connected today’s political climate—marked by Elon Musk’s fascistic flirtations, Trump’s attacks on immigrants and organized labor, and the erosion of federal workers’ rights—to the corporate-state mergers of fascist Italy under Benito Mussolini.

Azikiwe reminded the audience that between the 1880s and the 1930s, more than 5,000 Black Americans were lynched without federal intervention.

“There was never an anti-lynching law passed during this period in the U.S.,” Azikiwe noted, arguing that today’s scapegoating of oppressed communities follows the same reactionary logic.  (more...)
