How can tech help Palestine? | Panel discussion with Paul Biggar

technology Palestine ethics human rights Big Tech incubator advocacy boycott divestment infrastructure

At Web Summit Qatar in Doha, Middle East Eye’s Mohamed Hashem sits down with Paul Biggar, founder of Tech for Palestine, to examine the big tech industry’s role in the genocide in Gaza. Biggar asserts that major corporations, including Google, Microsoft, and Palantir, are directly complicit by providing the technical infrastructure used by Israel to carry out crimes against humanity.

The discussion explores the systemic shift of tech power over the last two decades, detailing howcoll the sector has moved from an alternative ecosystem to one that aligns with billionaire interests and government oppression. Biggar outlines the necessity of "ethical tech" that prioritises human rights over profit and explains how Tech for Palestine operates as an incubator for advocacy projects, including widespread boycott and divestment tools.

Shadow Banning On X is Getting OUT OF CONTROL in 2026

Many users including myself have discovered that not only is X shadow banning users for mentioning Israel, Epstein, or engaging in anti-imperialist rhetoric, but they're also allowing other accounts to lie and post false information without penalty according to a comprehensive analysis by Grok. With the censorship on X and the new Zionist crackdown on tiktok, many users are leaving both platforms in droves and moving to Upscrolled.

The American Revolution as an Alternative to Imperial Order

American Revolution Thomas Paine Common Sense history independence freedom dignity

Among the most influential authors and reformers of his age, Thomas Paine (1737–1809) was born in England but went on to play an important role in both the American and French Revolutions. In 1774, he emigrated to America where, for a time, he helped to edit the Pennsylvania Magazine. On January 10, 1776, he published his pamphlet Common Sense, a persuasive argument for the colonies' political and economic separation from Britain.

Common Sense cites the evils of monarchy, accuses the British government of inflicting economic and social injustices upon the colonies, and points to the absurdity of an island attempting to rule a continent. Credited by George Washington as having changed the minds of many of his countrymen, the document sold over 500,000 copies within a few months.

Today, Common Sense remains a landmark document in the struggle for freedom, distinguished not only by Paine's ideas but also by its clear and passionate presentation. Designed to ignite public opinion against autocratic rule, the pamphlet offered a careful balance between imagination and judgment, and appropriate language and expression to fit the subject. It immediately found a receptive audience, heartened Washington's despondent army, and foreshadowed much of the phrasing and substance of the Declaration of Independence.

THE CATHOLIC FACTOR: Cristeros, Canadians, and Candace Owens

Catholic freemasonry Cristeros Vendee France Mexico Canada deception steadfastness faithfulness

Michael asks a couple of questions about the Candace Owens phenomenon:

  • If she’s such a nutter, why does she have the number one podcast in the world?
  • If we throw her under the bus, do we get to become acceptable in the eyes of the world?

Plus, Michael compares a new book on the Cristero Catholic counterrevolution in Mexico  to “For Altar and Throne: The Rising in the Vendee” by Michael Davies. It’s the same story – the Freemasonic bad guys vs the same Traditional Catholic good guys – just on a different continent. But the Christophobia is the same.  And here we go again in 2025—the Revolution is firing up the Christophobic mob.

'Know your enemy'; International Law is not your friend

colonialism normalization international law capture socialization Zionism hegemony

I sit down again with Prof. Isa Blumi to run through recent events, including the UNSC approval of Resolution 2803 that gives a green light to the Trump ‘final solution’ for Gaza in full compliance with Zionist genocidal policies.

Minutes before we spoke, I received news that “Israel” had struck an apartment block in the southern Beirut suburbs. To date, there are 5 killed and 27 injured but these numbers are likely to increase. “Israel” fired 6 precision missiles at the building on a Sunday afternoon when markets would be at their busiest with people shopping or having coffee.

We also talk about the role of Russia and China in the upcoming ‘New World Order’ - social media capture of discourse, preventing any sensible debate or argumentation on any subject related to global resistance strategies and campaigns.

Treason in America: Preparing America's Surrender

America revolution independence freedom republic Aaron Burr Mallet-Prevost finance politics diplomacy education culture Harvard Switzerland Britain Canada CIA philosophy espionage conspiracy slavery oligarchy treason

The political "theories" of Albert Gallatin live on today in the work of Milton Friedman, Paul Volcker, and other monetarist leaders.

The organization that Aaron Burr created to control America and sabotage its independence is still in place.

The chart of the Mallet-Prevost family tree, which shows the generations of spymasters committing their lives to the destruction of America—from Burr's generation forward—sits in the New York Public Library. On the chart will be found the names Rhea and Petit Dulles, respectively cousin and uncle of a founder of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, Allen Dulles.

The Mallet-Prevosts, and allied family groupings in the era of the American Revolution, continued to attack the United States over the next two centuries from strategic nests within financial, political, diplomatic, educational, and cultural institutions.

It was this continuing treasonous core-group of the British-Swiss secret service in America, later including the Dulles and Harriman families, which brought repeated tragedy to America and the world—the Civil War and the two world wars.

A Call to Action: "The British Are Coming, the British Are Coming"

Donald Trump King Charles British Empire independence special relationship foreign influence american revolution monarchy republic war subjugation slavery

Was the toast to the British Empire delivered by President Trump in London a disgusting sign of submission?  In praising the British Empire as being responsible for the "highest achievements of mankind," has he forgotten that the American Revolution was fought against that Empire?  Has he forgotten the leading role played by the British in roping the U.S. into the destructive wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya, and the role played by British intelligence in fabricating the long-running anti-Trump story called Russiagate?  The speechwriters who drafted the toasts should be fired, and the American people must take on the fabrications being used to support the devastating wars underway now, with more to come.

The Peoples Conference for Palestine: Another Step Forward

Detroit Peoples Conference for Palestine solidarity resistance subud politics genocide imperialism colonialism

The well-organized Palestine conference in Detroit brought more than 4,600 there, with a heavy Palestinian presence.

Most of the speakers in the plenaries were genuine Palestinian activists tested in battle, not well-known writers or professors.

The over 270 journalists who have been targeted and murdered for informing the world of the endless U.S.-Israeli slaughter of civilians were honored throughout the three days, that included more than 20 sessions and plenaries, exhibits, including Palestinian cultural performances, a grand vendor fair and art exhibits.

It was made clear that Israel is the U.S. garrison state in the Middle East, out to break the Palestinian people’s resistance.

U.S.-Israel aim to destroy their confidence in the ability to resist and fight back, and as the Final Solution, to wipe Palestinians off their homeland.

The U.S.-Israeli military operations, through relentless carpet bombing, mass shootings of civilians and starvation, aim to kill Palestinians until they decide to flee.

If this is a war, then so are the mass shootings in the U.S., with the perpetrators shooting school children and civilians presented as an army of snipers in an armed conflict against their recalcitrant enemy.

Dr. Mohammed Mustafa, a Palestinian emergency doctor now living in Australia who has done medical missions to Gaza, spoke in the plenary Gaza is the Center of the World: “Health care in Gaza is not a failure by accident but sabotage by design with doctors killed and aid blocked. That is the reality of Gaza. It is a mirror that is being held up to humanity. Why is it that baby formula is banned from Gaza? Why is it that feeding a child is considered a threat? Why are ambulances and hospitals turned into targets of war? When did bread and milk become weapons? When did saving lives become a crime? Gaza is the only place on Earth where nourishing a baby is an act of resistance. It is the only place where life itself is viewed as a weapon of war.”  (more...)

Elbit Systems factory apparently shuttered following Palestine Action campaign

UK Palestine Action Elbit Systems Bristol closure technology Gaza genocide complicity weapons resistance steadfastness

The defence company's plant in Bristol is reportedly empty in the wake of a direct action campaign by the now-proscribed group

One of defence company Elbit Systems' plants in the UK city of Bristol has reportedly been closed in the wake of a Palestine Action campaign, according to The Guardian.

The Elbit Systems UK site in Aztec West business park was repeatedly targeted by activists, including the day before the group was proscribed as a terrorist organisation by then Home Secretary Yvette Cooper. Actions included lock-ons, rooftop occupations, smashing windows and covering the building in red paint.

The Guardian visited the site earlier this week and said the property was deserted, with "no staff present aside from a security guard stationed in a vehicle parked outside the premises".

The Israeli company, which has drawn criticism for producing weaponry used in the ongoing genocide in Gaza, had held the lease since 2019, with a contract due to run until 2029.

Elbit Systems provides around 85 percent of Israel’s drones and land-based military equipment and has played a major role in supplying Israel with weaponry for its genocide in Gaza.  (more...)

The changing tide of public opinion threatens Israel’s crumbling legitimacy

public opinion Palestine solidarity Jewish supremacy Israel impunity ethnic cleansing occupation steadfastness resistance

What was once a fringe position is now the majority view, as Israel’s brutality radicalizes even the previously apolitical

You wouldn’t have heard about it in the Canadian mainstream media, but Hamas was explicit about its strategic objectives on October 7, 2023—among them, to force renewed global attention on the Palestinian struggle and delegitimize Israel on the world stage.

In the wake of the attack, Canadian legacy outlets adopted Israel’s framing not only of what had happened, but why—presenting it as an unprovoked spasm of terroristic brutality carried out by a horde of unthinking barbarians, rather than a desperate yet meticulously planned act of violent resistance set against the backdrop of Israel’s 77-year history of ethnic cleansing and occupation.

The media not only adopted this general narrative framing, but also frequently parroted Israeli misinformation about specific atrocities. The CBC News Network, for instance, allowed an Israeli government advisor to air lies that Hamas “beheaded children [and] burnt babies alive” without pushback. Meanwhile, the National Post website still hosts an article featuring a fabricated image of a burned baby.

In November 2023, the New York Times, which also published debunked Hamas atrocity propaganda without retraction, at least interviewed senior Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya about the group’s motives. Al-Hayya explained that Operation Al-Aqsa Flood was intended to “change the entire equation” in the region and argued that the assault had “succeeded in putting the Palestinian issue back on the table.”

Similarly, in December 2023, when asked about the aims of October 7, Hamas political bureau member Osama Hamdan told the Turkish national broadcaster, TRT, that “everyone is talking now about the Palestinian cause.” The operation, he suggested, had quickly shown “everyone the clear and the right face of Israel, as… a savage occupation.”

Whether one condemns the militants’ tactics or questions if the staggering human cost Israel has since inflicted on Gaza and the West Bank could ever be worth the price—a debate that divides Palestinians themselves—there is no denying that Hamas has achieved this objective.  (more...)

Palestine Action Activist Calla Walsh Calls On Persons Of Conscience To Rise Up

Palestine Action repression activism conscience uprising resistance resilience civil disobedience youth imprisonment hunger strikes steadfastness

Dimitri Lascaris speaks with Calla Walsh, a co-founder of Palestine Action U.S.

Calla is a 21-year old anti-imperialist organizer, writer, and freelance journalist based in the United States.

Calla served time in jail last year for attacking an Elbit Systems weapons factory in New Hampshire. Despite her criminal conviction - which has cost her dearly - Calla remains unrepentant.

Calla argues that peaceful protest is not enough. Persons of conscience must engage in direct action and civil disobedience on a massive scale.

Calla also discussed the plight of two Palestine Action activists who remain imprisoned in the United Kingdom and the United States. Their names are T. Hoxha and Casey Goonan.

The tool-kit for helping T. Hoxha and Casey Goonan can be found here:

Dancing with the Devil: The Archbishop of New York vs. Ozzy Ozbourne

Ozzy Ozbourne demonic music Prince of Darkness entertainment degradation modernism Catholic education Luciferianism

In this week’s Underground, Michael J. Matt looks at the resurrection of the Prince of Darkness in 2025. After a half century of holy war, why did the Catholic Church surrender to the gods of wasteland? Pearce Morgan hailed Ozzy Osbourne as a cultural icon, the King of England honored him at Buckingham palace, but 25 years ago the Cardinal Archbishop of New York warned the world that Ozzy’s music posed a diabolical threat to the common good.

So, what happened? Why has the world embraced the Prince of Darkness it once condemned to hell? What has changed, and is there a connection between the Modernist revolution in the Catholic Church and this 900-pound gorilla in the parlor?

Are Arab Autocrats in Danger of Being Overthrown?

Israel instability vulnerability petrodollar Zionism republicanism monarchism anger Gaza genocide Iran China

After nearly two years of Israel's Western-backed genocide, the peoples of the Arab and Muslim world are seething with anger, yet there are few overt signs of a popular uprising in Arab states that are ruled by pro-Washington autocrats.

As more and more Palestinian children die of starvation in Gaza, can those autocrats survive? Might we be on the cusp of a massive anti-Western uprising in West Asia?

To explore these questions, Dimitri Lascaris speaks with Vijay Prashad.

Vijay is a historian and journalist, and the executive director of Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research. He is also the chief editor of LeftWord Books and the author of forty books, including The Darker Nations: A People’s History of the Third World, The Poorer Nations: A Possible History of the Global South, and the Fragility of U.S. Power, written with Noam Chomsky.

Vijay and Dimitri also discussed Israel's growing instability and vulnerability, as well as military cooperation between Iran, China, Russia, Pakistan and North Korea.
