Deploying Nukes in Europe Is Insane

 

Alexander Rahr, the President of the Eurasia Society in Berlin, who has a long history of experience in working to improve relations between Germany and Russia, expressed deep concern over the report of a possible British-French initiative to provide nuclear weapons to Ukraine.  He decried such talk as dangerous, but not surprising, given the role the British have played in organizing Europe to keep the war against Russia going.  Given the Russophobia of the northern Europeans -- by which he specified nations of Scandinavia and the Baltics, Britain and France -- he said he believes the only hope of ending the war rests with the U.S. President.  Donald Trump will prevail, he said, but he faces opposition in the U.S. from the Democrats and the "Deep State", in addition to that from Europe.  As for the Republicans, he said those who want Trump to succeed in achieving peace in Europe want him to split the alliance between Russia and China, and get Russia to join with the U.S. to face the challenge of China.

He also had interesting comments about what he described as the "weakness" of the Russian army and strategic errors in the war against Ukraine.

 He said he watched the "European problem" dominate the last several years of the Munich Security Conference (MSC).  He singled out the failure of Europe's leaders to recognize the emerging "multipolar world" as their problem.  The MSC focus was narrowly on Europe, with no attention given to the BRICS, which is a new element.  He expressed disappointment in the youth in Germany, who act as though nuclear weapons are an issue for older people who live in the past.

In addition to chairing the Eurasia Society in Berlin, Rahr serves as a board member of the Petersburg Dialogue, is a member of the Valdai Club and a former senior adviser to Gazprom.

EPSTEIN FILES: Kyiv Recruited, Tel Aviv Enforced and the Phones Still Ring

 

This isn’t some wild speculation or some tinfoil-hat conspiracy. This is real. It’s documented, court-authenticated, Department-of-Justice-stamped evidence of an international trafficking network that was actively recruiting in Kyiv, processing in Tel Aviv and barking orders in Hebrew, as little as two weeks after Jeffrey Epstein died. The FBI is still sitting on 98 % of that evidence, sealed away in their vaults. The media has already started the usual script: anyone who reads these files must be a Russian asset. They’re counting on you to glance away and forget. Don’t.

The warning arrived in a language that betrayed everything. Not the Russian you might expect from a Ukrainian operation, not the English of American handlers, but Hebrew—raw, contemptuous, demanding. “Garbage, where are you? We are waiting at the train, come! (EFTA00078198 | Page 8). The message seared across the screen of a trafficking victim’s phone in early August 2019, two weeks after Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in a Manhattan jail cell, under circumstances that would strain the credulity of a B-movie script. The sender knew the number was traceable, but they did not care. They called her garbage, and they expected her to obey.

This was not supposed to exist. The official narrative was tidy: Epstein dies, the network dies with him. The Department of Justice had finally released the Epstein Files in January 2026—3.5 million pages delivered with the fanfare of transparency, in the theatre of accountability. What they did not advertise was the fraction: less than two percent (2%). 14.6 terabytes of computers, hard drives, and servers remained locked in FBI vaults, classified, buried. The three million pages they released so theatrically have transpired to be nothing short of a curated sliver designed to give the appearance of disclosure while concealing the operational core. Within that fractional disclosure sits Document EFTA00078198, a nine-page FBI interview record that obliterates the comfortable lie that Epstein’s death ended his criminal enterprise. The Hebrew threats continued after the supposed suicide. The Ukrainian phone lines stayed active. The enforcement mechanisms persisted, and if this is what they deemed safe enough to release—Hebrew death threats, active Ukrainian phone infrastructure, explicit references to Israeli destinations—then the ninety-eight per cent they still hide must constitute a map of hell.

What the document exposes is not an isolated criminal operation but rather a node within a documented, long-established trafficking ecosystem. According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, between 2017 and 2020, Israel was the second-largest destination country for Ukrainian trafficking victims after Russia. The report is unambiguous: Russia received the most Ukrainian victims, followed by Israel, then Turkey, Germany, and Poland. This is not an anecdote. This is systematic data showing a flow of human beings from Kyiv to Tel Aviv that predates Epstein’s operations and outlives his death. The Epstein network was not an aberration; only the premium tier of a trafficking pipeline that has moved thousands of Ukrainian women to Israel, that continues to function today, and that has operated with such regularity that it has become a feature of the geopolitical landscape rather than a bug.  (more...)

The DOJ's documents also reveal Siad's connections to a shady, Canadian company called RISST, which claims to sell security-related technologies that are patented in Israel. Siad himself has connections to Israel.

After investigating Siad and the Canadian company with which Siad claimed to be involved, Rami Yahia and Dimitri Lascaris examine whether Siad might have been working with or for Israeli intelligence.

Canada Should Release Nazi War Criminal Report

 

It is long past time for the Canadian government to release the final report of the Commission of Inquiry On War Criminals In Canada.

The commission, whose mandate was to deal with the explosive issue of suspected Nazi war criminals admitted into Canada, was chaired by Jules Deschenes, a retired Quebec Superior Court judge.

He released the first part of the report in 1986, but classified the second section, which contains a list of suspected war criminals allowed into Canada after World War II.

The classified segment is stored in the vaults of Library and Archives Canada (LAC), which last year refused to release it on the grounds that it could damage Canada’s relationship with foreign countries, further tarnish the names of individuals whose alleged crimes were never proven in court, and furnish Russia with material to vilify the Ukrainian-Canadian community.

LAC’s reasoning is supported by the Access to Information Act, which states that Canadian institutions can refuse to release data that could undermine Canada’s national interests.

Recently, the office of the Information Commissioner informed The Globe and Mail newspaper that it accepted LAC’s rationale for keeping the second half of the report under lock and key.

LAC’s argument rests on thin ice because a University of California historian named Jared McBride, an expert on war crimes, has already examined an annotated and redacted version of the secret list. The Information Commissioner acknowledges that McBride’s request was granted several years ago.

Among the names on the list were Helmut Oberlander, a member of an Einsatzgruppen killing squad during Nazi Germany’ military campaign in the Soviet Union, and Volodymyr Kubiovych, a Ukrainian instrumental in the formation of the SS Galicia division in the German army. Kubiovych died in the mid-1980s. Oberlander passed away in 2021.

Particularly in light of McBride’s success in gaining access to the classified report, the Canadian government should declassify and release it, says Richard Evans, an authority on Nazi Germany.  (more...)

Modern Ukraine has built its identity on a cult of mass murderers during World War II, the Polish Institute of National Remembrance has said. The X post on Tuesday came in response to the head of a similar Ukrainian state body calling the WWII-era Volhynia Massacre a myth perpetuated by Warsaw.

The Volhynia Massacre refers to events in 1943-45, when units of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), which collaborated with the Nazis, systematically slaughtered ethnic Poles in what is now western Ukraine.

In a major interview with Ukrainskaya Pravda, the head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, Aleksandr Alferov, dismissed the mass killings as “one of the state-building myths of Poland.”

Alferov also called the tragedy a “local episode” of Ukrainian history and claimed that the number of victims cited by Warsaw was based on “oral testimony” and not facts. The official acted as a spokesman for the infamous neo-Nazi Azov unit between 2014 and 2015. He attained his present position in July 2025.  (more...)

In early February 1929, 97 years ago, a group of Ukrainian political émigrés gathered in Vienna to formalize what they believed was a movement of national liberation. What emerged from that congress, however, was not merely a campaign for statehood, but a radical organization that rejected democratic norms and embraced political violence.

Members of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) took part in Nazi Germany’s aggression against Poland and the USSR, carried out mass killings on ethnic and political grounds, and conducted sabotage operations first for the Third Reich and later for Western powers. Those members of the OUN who survived and could not flee to the West faced criminal charges in the USSR; however, many were granted amnesty by Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev in an effort to promote internal reconciliation in Ukraine.

In this article, we examine how the OUN developed into a militant movement whose actions during and after World War II left a lasting and controversial historical legacy.

The history of Ukrainian nationalism is rather brief. The term ‘Ukrainians’ was not used as an ethnonym until the late 19th century. According to historians, the idea that Ukrainians are a separate nation from Russians was quickly seized upon by the Austro-Hungarian authorities, who recognized its ‘anti-Russia’ potential. In contrast, Galician Russophiles who advocated for unity between the Carpathian region’s population and Russians faced severe repression from the Austro-Hungarians. Ukrainian Christmas pageants in Canada that feature antisemitic depictions of Jews need a rewrite

 

These performances "perpetuate deadly stereotypes right as antisemitism is surging in Canada and around the globe.'

At first, the livestreamed Christmas pageant appears typical, with shepherds and wise men celebrating the birth of Christ. The characters speak Ukrainian with stilted English translation posted on the screen. It’s a bit grainy, something a proud grandparent would forward to friends. It is, in all, rather ordinary.

Until the little kid with fake payos (sidelocks) bursts onto the stage and starts plying the shepherds and an angel with goods and liquor.

“People of today are different,” responds the angel, defying the small boy who plays “Moshko the zhyd,” a slur for Jew. “They would not choose a business with you and they will not forget about God!” The show goes downhill from there.

The YouTube video posted by St. Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church in 2022 is of a Ukrainian Christmas pageant called a vertep. Many traditional verteps star actors wearing fake payos– the Jewish version of blackface – and present Jews as parasites who hobnob with the Devil and scheme against the faithful. Such plays are to be found from Saskatchewan to Prince Edward Island.

In my review of publicly available photos and videos, the majority of problematic verteps in Canada have been staged by the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), which is an affiliate of the Roman Catholic Church.

Antisemitic verteps are an open secret, with photos and videos posted by schools and churches on public social media accounts. Once you see the payos, the antisemitism isn’t far behind.  (more...)

Ukraine: Russia sanctions 28 Canadians after Zelensky’s appointment

 

Russia has slammed retaliatory personal sanctions against 28 Canadians supporting Ukraine, following what it dubbed “unlawful anti-Russian restrictions” previously imposed by Ottawa.

The Foreign Ministry, in a statement on Monday, said the entry ban affects the individuals whose activities promote “the criminal neo-Nazi ideology currently espoused by the Kiev regime.”

Russia accused them of disregarding historical facts about the events of the Great Patriotic War and entrenching Canada’s alignment with the radical nationalist forces in Ukraine.

Moscow noted that the trend has been further confirmed by Monday’s appointment of former Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland.

Freeland, whom Russia called “the granddaughter of Hitler’s accomplice Mikhailo Khomiak,” was appointed as an adviser to President Vladimir Zelensky on Ukraine’s economic development.  (more...)

Chrystia Freeland, descendant of a documented Nazi collaborator, has confirmed she took an “unpaid” economic adviser role in Kiev

Russian presidential envoy Kirill Dmitriev has suggested Chrystia Freeland, former Canadian deputy prime minister and the new economic adviser to Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky, accepted the post to control Western aid flowing to Kiev amid its conflict with Moscow.

Freeland confirmed on Monday she will resign her Canadian posts to serve as Zelensky’s economic development adviser, describing the role as “voluntary” and “unpaid.” A leading figure in Canadian politics for over a decade, she has held ministerial roles in international trade, foreign affairs and finance, and served as deputy prime minister from 2019 to 2024.

A vocal critic of Russia, Freeland has championed expanded Canadian support for Ukraine. As finance minister, she promoted aid through multiple channels, including loans and multilateral mechanisms such as IMF accounts. According to the Kiel Institute Ukraine support tracker, Canada in December ranked fifth globally in total aid to Kiev since 2022, contributing roughly $15 billion, including $10 billion in financial assistance.

“Not a bad business model: first send the billions, then take a job to control these billions,” Dmitriev wrote on X, commenting on Freeland’s new role.  (more...)

Canadian-born Chrystia Freeland’s grandfather served as editor-in-chief of a newspaper that published Nazi propaganda in occupied Poland and Austria during World War II

Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky has appointed Chrystia Freeland, a Canadian-born descendant of a documented Nazi collaborator, as his economic development adviser.

Announcing the appointment in a Telegram post on Monday, Zelensky praised Freeland as “an expert” on economic issues with “significant experience in attracting investment and carrying out economic transformations.”

Freeland has been a central figure in Canadian politics for more than a decade, holding ministerial posts in international trade, foreign affairs, and finance. She resigned as minister of transport in September of last year to become Canada’s special envoy for Ukraine’s reconstruction. Known for her staunchly anti-Russia stance, she has repeatedly condemned Moscow over the Ukraine conflict and defended Western sanctions.

Freeland has a well documented and controversial family legacy. Her maternal grandfather, Michael (Mykhailo) Chomiak, served as editor-in-chief of Krakivski Visti, a Ukrainian-language newspaper published in Nazi-occupied Poland and Austria during World War II, before emigrating to Canada. Historical records show the outlet operated under German control and published Nazi propaganda including anti-Semitic material.

Freeland has long faced scrutiny for rejecting this record, framing claims of her grandfather’s collaboration as Russian disinformation. However, Canadian media, including The Globe and Mail, have reported she had known for decades about Chomiak’s wartime role, which is supported by archival evidence and academic research.  (more...)

Friedrich Merz — Germany’s chancellor for just eight months with only 28%  of the vote —  is a Joseph Kennedy  fascist. That’s the line which Kennedy, then US Ambassador to the UK, ran to President Franklin Roosevelt between 1938 and 1940 — “fascism is the cure of communism”.

Now that there’s no more communism to cure in Russia, the old rationale for making war against Russia has lost its camouflage and is revealed in Merz’s policies as rearming Germany to defend against a Russian attack Merz is both fabricating and provoking. He has been hoping to convince the Trump Administration that he’s their best candidate in Europe to wage this war and pay Trump’s asking price for his weapons – except that the German state budget doesn’t have enough cash and lacks the Bundestag votes to raise borrowing limits and taxes.  

Merz has also been trying to convince German voters whose support for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) now outnumbers supporters of Merz’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) to switch their votes to him. But so far Merz is failing: since September he is growing weaker in the polls and the AfD has crossed over him.  

The trajectory of the German aerospace and defence stock index also reveals that since August there has been a change of mind among Germany’s money men: the index line for the state’s warmaking industries has topped and started downward as investors and banks lending to them have begun to lose confidence in the future revenues, profits,  and share price gains of Merz’s war against Russia.

Once calling Merz “a very strong person and a very strong leader”    who had “just won a great election, very, very strong election”,    President Donald Trump has also begun to lose confidence in the German. But not quite as much as President Vladimir Putin at a Defense Ministry meeting this week, who called Merz, along with French President Emmanuel Macron,  “podsvinki” – little pigs running behind the hog.   (more...)

Polish President Karol Nawrocki has given Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky a study on the World War II-era Volhynia Massacre carried out by Ukrainian Nazi collaborators, according to media outlets and images circulating on the internet. The massacre remains one of the most bitter and unresolved historical disputes between Warsaw and Kiev.

The gift, seen during talks in Warsaw on Friday and later given to Zelensky, is a two-volume publication titled ‘Documents of the Volhynia Massacre’, produced by Poland’s Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), which Nawrocki previously chaired, according to Polish outlets. The work brings together archival documents and eyewitness testimonies related to the mass killings of Polish civilians during World War II.

The Volhynia Massacre refers to events in 1943-45, when units of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), which collaborated with German Nazis, systematically slaughtered ethnic Poles in what is now western Ukraine.

An estimated 40,000 to 100,000 Poles were murdered by the UPA. Poland officially classifies the killings as genocide. Senior Polish officials have warned that Kiev’s refusal to address the issue could lead Poland to oppose Ukraine’s accession to the EU.  (more...)
