Ukraine Orthodox Catholic Uniate Greek Catholic corruption war gay agenda LGBT pedophilia Nazi fascism ratlines Axis complicity

It was under Vladimir Zelensky that active attacks and seizures of churches began in Ukraine. "Ukraine's Patriarchal Church is branded an enemy. It was a serious, long-term plan. The plan was to unite Ukrainian Orthodoxy with Uniatism and to create a united Greek Catholic Church, which would become a branch of the Catholic Church," says Vladimir Vasilik, Protodeacon and History PhD. He recalls how Catholic priests rallied on Maidan, calling for confrontation with the authorities. In the documentary investigation, Anna Chapman probed for answers about what the Vatican stands to gain in Ukraine amid these events. Alongside historians and investigators, she reveals uncomfortable truths about Vatican authorities as well as their objectives.

St. Peter Damian Slays the German Synodal Way

Catholic St. Peter Damian Pope Leo IX Book of Gomorrah homosexuality sodomy gay clergy morality heresy sin Germany

In February of 2019, thirteen years after my book The Rite of Sodomy – Homosexuality and the Roman Catholic Church was published, this writer founded the League of St. Peter Damian, an international Catholic ministry, to honor this great 11th century Cardinal and Doctor of the Church best known for his lengthy exposition on the unnatural vice of sodomy, the Book of Gomorrah, written in 1049.

Saint Peter Damian of Ravenna, “Hammer of the Sodomites,” addressed his now famous Letter 31 to another future saint, Pope Leo IX,  a German aristocrat, who had only been in office a few months and who was to become one of the most illustrious popes of the Middle Ages.

According to Owen J. Blum, O.F.M., Saint Peter Damian’s chief translator and biographer in modern times, the hermit-monk’s spiritual life was first and foremost a life of prayer, penance, and reparation. Peter Damian also promoted and practiced a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin.

The two hallmarks of the holy monk’s teachings on the spiritual life were his great hatred of sin and his fundamental and overriding interest in the spiritual advancement of the Catholic priesthood. Peter Damian thought of the priesthood as an order of the greatest dignity. Indeed, it was the exalted nobility of this office that caused him to speak in such dire terms to priests who forgot their position and tarnished their souls with incontinence.

Peter Damian showed remarkable insight into the importance of model episcopal leadership, stating that the example of a virtuous life filters down from the princes of the Church to all levels of the clergy and laity. The holy monk was equally insistent on the deposition of unworthy incumbents to the priesthood, the duty of which fell to the local bishop.  (more...)

Challenging the German Bishops’ Advancement of Sodomy – “The Devil’s Congress“

Catholic Germany heresy apostasy homosexuality gay clergy kulturcampf synodality bishops sodomy

If there is one lesson that faithful Catholics the world-over need to learn from the more than half-century of the rule of the Robber/Counterfeit Church, aka, the Novus Ordo, is that never, ever, say, “it cannot get worse,” because it  always does.

Last year’s pro-homosexual debacle lead by prominent members of the German and Flemish hierarchies under the banner of  Pope Francis’ new vision of a Synodal Church via a Synodal Way is a powerful lesson in point.

While there are other continuing recycled controversies associated with the Synodal Movement – including a more egalitarian reshaping of the Catholic Church’s hierarchical structures, and the opening up of the “new priesthood” to women, intersex and transgender candidates – there can be no doubt that the sanctification of sodomy is the linchpin that binds together the entire German Synodal doctrinal and moral wrecking apparatus and its crew.

The primary focus of this article is the 28-page German Synodal Forum IV document  “ Life in Succeeding Relationships – Living Love in Sexuality and Partnerships,” presented by the German Episcopal Conference (Deutsche Bischofskonferenz)  and the lay Central Committee of German Catholics (ZdK) at the IV Plenary Assembly of the Synodal Way held in Frankfurt in 2022.

Together, the two entities form the 230-member German Assembly known as the Synodaler Weg, that is, the Synodal Way. The group is comprised of all the German bishops plus clerical and lay representatives from Catholic religious orders, dioceses, parishes, lay movements, academia, and ecumenical associations that include non-Catholics and non-believers.  (more...)

Pope Benedict XVI’s Posthumous Book Is Unprecedented, a Bombshell

Many say there is a war brewing in the Catholic Church with the installation of Pope Francis. Some wonder was there ever cause for Pope Benedict XVI to retire, or was he pushed out to make way for a more heretical Pope? Some say the latter is true.

We were told about this book in 2020.

Pope Benedict XVI’s bombshell book was published this month after his death to spare him and Christendom.

He explained, “For my part, in life, I no longer want to publish anything. The fury of the circles against me in Germany is so strong that the appearance of every my word immediately causes a murderous shouting from them. I want to spare myself and Christendom this.”

His remarks in the book, Che Cos’é Il Cristianesimo, are truly unprecedented coming from a Holy Father. We know it is happening, but he is publicly speaking to us about it from the grave. Recently, the Vatican launched an investigation into a “sex party” at the Cathedral. in the past, police arrested top clergy for orgies. It’s been an open secret.  (more...)

Bishop James T. McHugh – The Forgotten Man in the McCarrick Equation – Part 5

USCCB bishops Catholic McHugh prolife abortion contraception sterilization gay clergy

Bishop James T. McHugh was called to his Maker some twenty years ago on December 10, 2000, but his deadly legacy lives on in the current three-tiered USCCB-Washington D.C.-based “pro-life” bureaucracy composed of  (1)The Committee on Pro-Life Activities (2) The “Secretariat” for Pro-Life Activities and 3) The National Committee for a Human Life Amendment. State Catholic Conferences and an army of Diocesan Pro-Life Directors make up the rest of the prolife bureaucratic contingent at the lower levels of the USCCB.

As previously noted in this series, when the American bishops reorganized and expanded their prolife offices at the NCCB/USCC in the late fall of 1972, Msgr. McHugh became the Secretary and Executive Director of the Ad Hoc Committee for Pro-Life Affairs (1972-1978), that later became a formal Standing Committee of the NCCB – the USCCB Committee for [on, of] Pro-Life Activities.

The hackneyed Respect Life Program held every October for the last 45 years and the hair brain scam of People of Life Action Campaign of the Catholic Church in the United States[1] are two of the Committee’s expensive signature programs.

The current chair of the Committee is the Most Reverend Joseph F. Naumann, Archbishop of Kansas City, KS. Archbishop Naumann is also a Board member of the NCHLA.

While the USCCB Pro-Life Committee was theoretically controlled by a cardinal chair and a large number of bishops, in practice, the routine work and development of new prolife programs and strategies were handled almost exclusively by the staff of the new USCCB Secretariat for Pro-Life Activities, originally headed by Msgr. McHugh.

For several decades after McHugh left for Rome in 1978 to obtain advanced theological degrees,  the Secretariat has been operated by his permanent bureaucratic clones including his personal family friend and former secretary, Gail P. Quinn, a 39-year veteran of the USCCB; Michael Taylor, who helped McHugh set up the original National Right to Life Committee at the USCC in the 1970s and later went on to head the NCHLA; and McHugh’s long-time gofer, Richard Doerflinger, who served as Associate Deputy Director of the Secretariat for 36 years until he retired in August 2016.  (more...)

Although Cardinal Joseph Bernardin (above) is most often credited with originating
the “Consistent Life Ethic,” McHugh claimed that the basic concept originated with
his 1972 Respect Life Program

In the final installments of this series on the influence of Bishop James T. McHugh and other homosexual prelates on the Right-to-Life Movement, the reader will have an opportunity to see how McHugh’s “prolife” and “anti-abortion” compromise policies and strategies became the formal policies of the American bishops via the National Conference of Catholic Bishops/U.S. Catholic Conference (NCCB/USCC), later the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), and how these instruments of compromise and accommodation to the Antilife Establishment have worked against the interests of the unborn child in the past, and will continue to do so in the future unless the McHugh legacy is buried forever in the prolife consciousness of Catholic laymen and clerics alike.

I’ll begin with some background archival material on how the Prolife Movement successfully operated in its early years using the U.S. Coalition for Life (USCL) as an example, and how, in contrast, the programs and strategies employed by McHugh and implemented by the bishops’ bureaucracy in Washington, D.C. and carried out by the State Catholic Conferences ultimately served the interests of the Antilife Movement.

First, to clear the air, it should be noted that McHugh initially favored the research and legislative agenda of the U.S. Coalition for Life.  (more...)

Bishop James T. McHugh – The Forgotten Man in the McCarrick Equation: Part 2

James McHugh McCarrick gay clergy homosexuality Catholic prolife abortion contraception sterilization eugenics

There are two important historical footnotes to be added to this aforementioned tragic scenario before zeroing in on the role played by Bishop McHugh in the undermining of the early Prolife Movement.

First, the Catholic reader needs to understand that the decision of the American hierarchy to abandon its long-held policy in opposition to state and federal “birth control” promotion and services, and instead switch to the fallback position of surgical abortion,  had already been made before that fateful day of  November 14, 1966, when the NCCB/USCC publicly waved the white flag of surrender before the Anti-Life Establishment.

This story begins in the fall of 1965 with a charismatic birth control crusader named Dr. Joseph D. Beasley of Tulane University, who dreamed of leading a national battle against the proliferation of people. He wanted to begin with a modest population control program for black welfare recipients in the northern counties of Louisiana. He was stymied, however, by state laws prohibiting the distribution of contraceptive information. More importantly, he had to contend with the powerful Catholic Church in Louisiana and the explosive charge of “black genocide” before he could get any population control project off the ground.

Within a matter of weeks, the ever-charming and resourceful Beasley had engineered a satisfactory agreement with the New Orleans Family Life officials, following the consultation of the New Orleans Archdiocese with Archbishop John Cody of Chicago.  (more...)

Bishop James T. McHugh – The Forgotten Man in the McCarrick Equation

James McHugh Catholic prolife homosexuality abortion contraception population control Planned Parenthood eugenics

As Catholics await the long-overdue Vatican Final Report on the Cardinal Theodore McCarrick scandal from Rome, there is one significant figure who has managed to escape public scrutiny – that of Bishop James T. McHugh, one of McCarrick’s earliest sexual protégés and the primary architect of AmChurch’s disastrous “prolife” policies and strategies for more than 30 years.

This omission needs to be rectified now, before the McCarrick Report is released by the Holy See, for a number of reasons.

Firstly, because the blood of hundreds of thousands of unborn children in our nation who have been murdered in their mother’s womb, or destroyed in the spic and span hell of IVF clinics, or killed by abortifacient devices or chemicals, DEMANDS a historical accounting of the role played by homosexual prelates in the furtherance of legalized abortion.

Secondly, because most of our early prolife heroes like Notre Dame Professor Charles Rice; Father Paul Marx, Founder of Human Life International; March for Life Founder Nellie Gray; Child and Family editor Dr. Herbert Ratner; U.S. Coalition for Life UN/NGO representative Marge Garvey; Long Island Coalition for Life grassroots leaders John Mawn and John Short, and countless other great Catholic souls have long since gone to their reward. There are not many of us left to tell the story of how the hidden hand of clerical sodomy in AmChurch operated as a Trojan horse for many years in the nascent prolife camp. And how, with the cooperation of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops/U.S. Catholic Conference, this homosexual clique continued to snatch defeat after defeat from the jaws of almost certain prolife victories in these early years.

Thirdly, because it is more than likely that when the McCarrick Report is made public, there will not be any reference to the anti-life role that McCarrick and McHugh – and other homosexual members of the American hierarchy – played in the blindsiding and undermining of the early Prolife Movement.

Obviously, it would be grossly inaccurate and unfair to suggest that McHugh, and his primary protector, McCarrick, were the first generation of American Catholic homosexual prelates to be involved in political maneuvering that was harmful to Catholic morals, politics, and pro-life strategies. That dubious honor would most likely go to the late Francis Cardinal Spellman of New York and to Spellman’s successor Terence Cardinal Cooke, former personal secretary to Spellman, and the Chairman of the Catholic Bishops’ Committee for Pro-Life Activities for ten years.

McCarrick, who had served as homosexual Cardinal Cooke’s private secretary was a third-generation homosexual in the Spellman line, which made McHugh a fourth generation homosexual bishop. So, while McHugh alone could not be blamed for the long litany of losses suffered by the emerging Prolife Movement prior to and immediately after Roe vs Wade on January 22, 1973, his role was nevertheless pivotal, and in the end, definitive.  (more...)

The McCarrick Report – After the dust has settled

Catholic McCarrick report Randy Engel gay clergy homosexuality pederasty crime cover-up

It’s been almost twenty years since this writer introduced St. Peter Damian’s moral masterpiece, the Book of Gomorrah, to readers of Catholic Family News.

And now, thanks to CFN editor Matt Gaspers, here I am again – this time to review somewhat belatedly, the long-awaited “Report on the Holy See’s Institutional Knowledge and Decision-Making Related to Former Cardinal Edgar McCarrick (1930 to 2017), aka, “the Report,” released by the Holy See on November 10, 2020.

The reader will recall that the McCarrick investigation was initiated by Pope Francis on October 6, 2018. Thus, by the time the Report was published, two years had passed, and the McCarrick case had already been adjudicated by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. McCarrick had been convicted of sexual solicitation during the Sacrament of Confession and sins against the Sixth Commandment of the Decalogue with minors and adults, with the aggravating factor of the abuse of power. He had resigned the Cardinalate and had been laicized, that is, reduced to the lay state and was living at an undesignated location.

One of the primary advantages of being able to assess the 449-page online document retrospectively, is that it has afforded this writer an opportunity to reread and examine the report multiple times in greater depth in an atmosphere more conducive to serious reflection and study.

Also, what was not clear when the Report was initially published, is that the document was not researched, written, and vetted by clerical staffers within the Vatican Secretariat of State, but by an American lawyer named Jeffrey Stanley Lena of Berkeley, California, and his associates.

Lena is the legal lay consultant and public relations conferee who represents the Holy See on civil matters in American courts. He has worked for the Vatican since 2000, and has an office at the Secretariat in Rome. As a member of the “Papal Teams” of John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Francis, Lena has successfully represented the Holy See for more than twenty years in a number of highly publicized legal cases in the United States.

Knowing that the McCarrick Report was ultimately put together by an American lawyer working for the Holy See explains a great deal about the Report’s style and its restricted scope, evidence, and content.  (more...)

The Inquiry reveals Cornwall's history of sexual abuse against boys

abuse boys crime education police gay clergy misconduct pedophilia rape film

In the 1980s Canadians were shocked into awareness of the widespread evil of child sexual abuse. Before that era, child sexual abuse was never considered a public health issue; it was thought of by decent people—if thought of at all—as an evil associated with obviously dissolute monsters. Certainly not something any "respectable" citizen would ever do. The sickening truth began to spill out, first in a trickle, then in a torrent we have yet to come fully to terms with.

In Ontario the town name of Cornwall (in particular, but also Prescott and London) became synonymous with an alleged pedophile ring of exactly those "respectable" men considered society's most trustworthy citizens—lawyers, teachers, doctors, police officers and Catholic clergymen—that for decades preyed on young boys to whom they had easy access because of their high-trust positions.

The story began in 1994 with an altar boy's charge that he had been abused by a priest. It broadened into the Ontario Provincial Police-led Project Truth, which in turn raised so many questions that it morphed into the $53 million Cornwall Inquiry. At the time—and perhaps still—this was the largest amount of money Ontario ever assigned to a public inquiry.

The Inquiry involved four years of hearings, 167 witnesses, 3,640 written exhibits, 115 charges laid against 15 men—yet produced only one conviction.  (more...)

Sins of the fathers: Ireland’s sex abuse survivors

Catholic gay clergy homosexuality abuse boys crime Ireland pedophilia rape

Ireland has one of the largest Catholic communities in Europe. The Church is rooted into the culture of the country, but when Pope Francis visited Dublin in 2018 his words divided the nation.

Since 2002, multiple reports and investigations have shed light on nearly 15,000 cases of sexual abuse committed in Ireland between 1970 and 1990.

The pontiff had come to apologise for those crimes carried out by members of the Church’s clergy. For many survivors, the visit and remorse that came with it was far too late.

Some 500,000 of the faithful were expected to welcome Pope Francis in Dublin. In the end, only 130,000 took part in an open-air mass, a far cry from the 1 million or so who turned out 40 years earlier for John Paul ll’s visit.

The abuse inflicted by Catholic priests is believed to have led to hundreds of suicides. Those that managed to pick up the pieces and face what happened, have been named 'The Survivors'.  (more...)

Having further established the connection of abuser McCarrick to St. Gallen, Switzerland, a reading of the Report also reveals an important connection to Argentina, and especially The Institute of the Incarnate Word:

As part of his work to increase vocations within the Archdiocese of Washington, Cardinal McCarrick encouraged the activity of the Institute of the Incarnate Word (IVE), a religious order of diocesan right originally founded in 1984 by Father Carlos Miguel Buela in the Diocese of San Rafael in Argentina.

It seems there was much travel by McCarrick to Argentina, including meetings with Cardinal Bergoglio. McCarrick's activities with the IVE in Argentina and elsewhere have attracted no little attention:

McCarrick and the Institute of the Incarnate Word

The aforementioned Father Buela was quite the character:

Institute of the Incarnate Word Founder Carlos Buela Guilty of Sexual Misconduct with Seminarians

For his part, Cardinal Bergoglio knew and attempted to do the right thing:

Pope Francis and the Institute

Try as he did, Cardinal Bergoglio could, or would, not prevail. A more powerful figure stood as protector of team Buela-McCarrick: Cardinal Angelo Sodano. And, to come full circle, it was Sodano who was key to the St. Gallen Mafia's plot to place the Argentine in the Papacy:

‘Loophole’ in child abuse reporting in historic cases: advocates

Basilians Knights of Columbus abuse boys crime education gay clergy homosexuality molestation misconduct pedophilia rape Catholic inaction

If a child told you they’d been sexually assaulted by an adult what would you do? Would you call police? Would you report the allegations to a children’s aid society? Or would you do neither?

For most of us, the moral choice is clear. So why has the obligation to report often been ignored by many who claim to be doing God’s work?

Sister Nuala Kenny is a pediatrician who has spent decades examining the sexual assault scandal rocking the religious institution she’s given her life to. As a nun, she calls the Catholic Church’s response to the abuse of children “a contradiction to what we’ve been called to be as Christians.”

A CityNews investigation has uncovered several child sexual assault claims against an order of Catholic priests based in Toronto. Dating back decades, the Basilian Fathers were made aware of abuse allegations against their own priests, but historically, cases were never reported to police or a children’s aid society. Instead, allegations were dealt with internally, resulting in alleged predator priests continuing to work in schools and churches.

“If the Church had reacted more effectively and properly, we would not have the catastrophe that we have today.”

It’s a scenario lawyer Rob Talach has seen again and again.

“This is the repetitive story in the Catholic cases, these priests are often reported and moved. I term it ‘the silent shuffle,’” he says. “If the Church had reacted more effectively and properly, we would not have the catastrophe that we have today.”  (more...)

Forensic Psychiatrist Dr. John Bradford Talks About Catholic Church Sexual Abuse

abuse boys Catholic crime education gay priests homosexuality misconduct pedophilia rape molestation

Sexual assault and abuse occurring within the Catholic Church have continued to make headlines across North America for decades. Victims of sexual abuse- men, women, young, and old- have been coming forward with accounts of horrific abuse, and after years of silence, Canadian courts are giving survivors an opportunity to be heard.

About 35 years ago, the sexual abuse of minors emerged as a chief social and ecclesial issue in Canada. It can be said that since the 1984 Badgley Report, Sexual Offenses Against Children in Canada, which sheds light on the severity of the harm involving child and adolescent sexual assault, raised the nation’s public awareness about child sexual abuse.

In June 1992, the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops released a report on child sexual abuse occurring in the Church.

The report highlighted three objectives for the Church to move toward a future without sexual abuse, namely:

  • To deal effectively, justly and compassionately with cases of sexual abuse;
  • To work towards eradicating the blight of sexual abuse within the ranks of the clergy; and
  • To contribute to the eventual elimination of this plague in society as a whole by educating and sensitizing the Catholic population.  (more...)

Toronto-based order of priests buried allegations of sex abuse at boys camp: whistleblower

Knights of Columbus Basilians abuse boys crime molestation gay priests homosexuality misconduct pedophilia rape

For a group of underprivileged children from Toronto, a sunny escape became a cabin of horrors.

A whistleblower tells CityNews he reported allegations of child sexual assault by a Catholic Father and said he now wishes he hadn’t gone to the priest’s religious order to seek justice.

“In hindsight, knowing more now, I would have phoned the police,” said Bill Taylor. “But at 17, I did what I thought was right.”

This is the first time he’s publicly sharing his story.

In 1978, Taylor was a teen from Windsor who worked as a counsellor at Columbus Boys’ Camp. The now-closed Orillia institution hosted as many as 1,200 underprivileged children from the GTA every summer.

It was run by the Congregation of St. Basil, an order of Catholic priests now known as the Basilian Fathers, or Basilians, whose headquarters is in Toronto.

According to Taylor, a group of boys, between the ages of six and eight, told him and another counselor about their experiences with the Basilian director of the camp, Father Leo Campbell.

Taylor said the boys alleged that Fr. Campbell had been coming to their cabin at night, putting his hands in their sleeping bags and fondling them.

“He was sexually molesting the young boys,” alleged Taylor.  (more...)

Southdown Treatment Centre Canada Basilians education abuse boys crime pedophilia rape misconduct gay clergy homosexuality

If you’re a Catholic Priest accused of sexually assaulting a child in North America, there’s a good chance you could be sent to a sprawling inpatient complex just north of Toronto many have never heard of.

Southdown Treatment Centre is run by Catholic clergy to treat those in religious life with a long list of diagnoses, including pedophilia. Reports by its staff have shaped the Church’s decisions on how to handle admitted sexual abusers – including whether to allow them to continue to teach and minister to children.

CityNews first became aware of Southdown as part of its investigation into Father Leo Campbell, the now-deceased priest, teacher and principal, who allegedly abused teen boys, including Peter Luci.

Fr. Campbell was a member of the Basilian Fathers of Toronto, whose headquarters are in Toronto. The order’s calling is to teach, and they operate or staff schools and universities across Canada and into the United States and South America.

The Basilians’ personnel file on Fr. Campbell shows that he was sent to Southdown for evaluation twice, each time after allegations arose that he had sexually abused a minor.  (more...)
