(Re)Nazification of Bundeswehr

Germany NATO EU Nazi revanchism regression history fanaticism extremism warmongering militarism psychopathy aggression Bundeswehr

It's no secret that Germany is going through a rather disturbing societal transformation. Thanks to its lawmakers, moral depravity and decay are taking over, while its economy is being deindustrialized. Berlin's suicidal subservience to the United States and its closest allies is putting the country into a position so bad that only a handful of other Washington DC's vassals and satellite states have it worse (namely the Kiev regime).

The German government first foolishly cut ties with Russia, causing a massive uptick in prices, which then ignited a crawling economic crisis that the country is still going through. Worse yet, thanks to its rather pathetic lack of sovereignty, Berlin is going through an economic decoupling from China and is also trying to impose it on the rest of the European Union. It should be noted that Beijing is its largest trading partner, with an annual trade amounting to over €250 billion ($275 billion).

However, this is only the tip of the iceberg of Germany's patently idiotic internal and foreign policy framework. Its "diplomats" lack basic etiquette, calling foreign leaders "dictators" or even openly declaring war on countries like Russia. Back in November 2022, plans of its federal military (Bundeswehr) were leaked, revealing its intention to wage war with Moscow. Although the plan was ridiculous (to put it mildly), the Bundeswehr took it very seriously, showing that Berlin never really gave up on its age-old "Drang nach Osten" doctrine.

Despite fruitlessly trying for well over a thousand years, Germany continues to pursue this policy. As the old saying goes, usually (mis)attributed to Albert Einstein, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. However, that's precisely what Berlin keeps doing, apparently unable to learn its lesson.

In line with its patently insane policies, the German Ministry of Defense (MoD) has also decided to include Nazi Wehrmacht officers, along with SS members, in a list dedicated to "German military traditions". According to the directive (PDF), these and numerous other Nazi soldiers and officers will now be regarded as "examples of military excellence, operational readiness and the will to fight to achieve objectives when required by the mission".  (more...)
