Noura Erakat joins Katie to discuss the ongoing dehumanization of Palestinians in the mainstream media in order to justify Israel's genocide. Noura also details a recent interview at the BBC where she received push back on her comments, saying; "I have seen a recent trend whereby BBC correspondents with their Palestinian guests or with guests that are basically making an argument to stop a genocide, saying, 'we want to make clear, that Israel, would not say this and that they reject that there is genocide. They wouldn't use the word apartheid.' the idea that they would say it's Palestinians, contaminating their own water just gives away the dehumanization."

Noura Erakat is a human rights attorney, Professor of Africana Studies and the Program of Criminal Justice at Rutgers University, New Brunswick.  Noura is the author of Justice for Some: Law and the Question of Palestine (Stanford University Press, 2019), which received the Palestine Book Award and the Bronze Medal for the Independent Publishers Book Award in Current Events/Foreign Affairs. She is co-founding editor of Jadaliyya and an editorial board member of the Journal of Palestine Studies as well as Human Geography.
