Ontario's public school system should serve all students

The Canadian Families Alliance continues to oppose Ontario's sex curriculum
What has happened recently in the battle against Ontario's controversial sex curriculum shows clearly where the school boards and the Liberal government truly stand. Parents opposing the curriculum were told this past week by Tony Pontes the director of the Peel District School Board that there will be no choice to withdraw children from any aspect of the sex curriculum. In his words, "Some in our community may not like this. They may choose to switch school system in fact. If so, that is a price we must be willing to pay." What has suddenly happened to all that rhetoric about inclusivity and tolerance?

What "price" must Ontario parents now pay in order to have their children taught to read, write, count and think? Is it that they must accept the LGTBQ issues without question? Are parents to have their children willingly indoctrinated? Will Ontario have a very divisive future educational system with many parents taking their children out of public schools and finding alternative ways to educate them?  (more...)
