New Parliament: DPP has it wrong on Lord Janner, say 78 MPs

Nearly 80 MPs elected or re-elected in the general election are calling for the case against Lord Janner to go to court.

They are among 393 candidates who wanted a reversal in the decision by Alison Saunders, director of public prosecutions, not to prosecute the former Labour MP or pursue a “trial of the facts” over allegations of child sex abuse.  (more...)
