PCO AWOL Again: Bill to ban conversion therapy passes second reading

TORONTO - A bill that would ban therapy to ‘convert’ gay and transgender children and youth has gained support from MPPs of all political stripes in the Ontario legislature.

New Democrat Cheri DiNovo’s bill would also prohibit OHIP coverage of conversion or reparative therapy for adults intended to change their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Approved without opposition. Sheesh.

  1. And, if you oppose this bill you will be slurred, a homophobe. This is the kiss of death, anymore. Look what happened to Mounty McNaughton, for daring to oppose the Levin/Wynne sex-ed sewer. No shortage of invertebrates in this provincial parliament.
