Junior high teacher, and one-time Stephen Harper bandmate, jailed for molesting 13-year-old

An Ottawa junior high teacher who molested a 13-year-old student in his office and during an end-of-the-year school trip was sentenced to two years in prison on Monday.

Nolan, a music and computer science teacher, was one of three regular members of Herringbone, a Celtic folk band that backed up then-prime minister Stephen Harper, who played keyboard and sang in live performances in Toronto and Calgary.
