Giambrone dodges questions about past sex scandal

ADAM GIAMBRONE SPEAKS AT SCARBOROUGH-GUILDWOOD'S NDP NOMINATION MEETING.

TORONTO - NDP Leader Andrea Horwath on Monday defended byelection candidate Adam Giambrone, who withdrew from a previous mayor's race over allegations of office couch romps.

"Adam's worked very hard for the people of this area on transit issues," Horwath said Monday during a byelection stop. "He's a proven leader in that regard and we're very proud to have him as our candidate because we know that, as part of our team, he'll be able to bring results for Scarborough-Guildwood."
